No, I don't drink Corona, but I did date the girl in that picture last year. And I did enjoy the fruit. I guess I figured you could see past the "beer label." Guess I was wrong. Wow.

Mayo, Hightower and Spikes just became part of arguably the AFC's best LB crew.  If NE wanted to go 3-4, too, you just put Hightower at SLB, Mayo at weakside and Spikes/Fletcher down the middle.

Fletcher, while not in the same class as the other 3 (yes, I think Hightower is going to be a beast, I have no idea why any pundits didn't like this pick), can still be of help, in a poor man's Bruschi type way as he develops here.

Also, the Bobby Carpenter signing is somewhat intriguing to me. I know he was a Parcells bust in Dallas, but he knows the 3-4.

Hightower does look like Willie, but he's obviously much shorter.  With his versatility and whatnot, it's very interesting to see how BB will use him. They clearly liked his versatility, leadership and closing speed.  Saban used him a lot onf stunts and blitzes a la Bruschi (in his prime) was used here.

Better than 2010s?  I don't know about that.  That'd be amazing considering B's 2010 was so great. 2010s addressed a boatload of areas all at once.

Right on down to Mesko and his all pro level punting. COnsidering how bad that area was for this team post-Josh Miller, I wouldn't sneeze at a great punter in Round 5 in 2010.

Add in the undrafted players and that was a heck of a pull by BB.
