Brady was showing signs of a bad first half game plan. Basically the same poor game plan they used vs the Jets in the second half after dominating the first half. -

Can't wait to see this post game hand shake. BB won't even go across the field, right to the locker room. Pats 34-14.

NE scored 17 points in the first half of that 10/30/06 game and 14 in the second half, 14 of them in the 4th quarter. One would assume, they'd score MORE in the 2nd half or more so as much in the 4th quarter, if signals were compromised.
So, how fast did they "steal signals" in order to benefit?
I think it's a flat out excuse and rhetoric, using the Spygate witch hunt as the reason.
Childress is using it as an excuse as to why his 31st ranked pass D and poor coaching got undressed on Monday night that year, to a clearly superior football team. -

The whole signal stealing whine sounds more like something Leon would come up with. One would expect more from a mentally stable adult. Maybe Childress is close to a breakdown. -

I'd say it's high time for Merriweather to sharpen his helmet and prepare for launch this weekend. Signal stealing aint the only trick in our playbook. -

Could Childress explain the advantage or even mechanics of stealing defensive signals when you've already sent your offensive play in and the QB/Coach communications have been cut off. Someone on the sidelines is stealing these signals, making a decision and then communicating them to the offense using hand signals so they can change the play while at the same time the offense is lining up for the snap? All in 5 or 10 seconds? Not to mention that the defensive play calling goes in by radio now just like the offense.
Talk about fantasy football! -

I just listened to Mike Felger explain what happened in that game. The Vikings ran their base defense to start so the Patriots came out spread with 4 or 5 wide. The Vikings and Childress the genius never adjusted out of their Base defense all game and Brady picked them apart. That coming from a patriot hater in Mike Felger..Hey, even Favre said Childress is a dunce. Who am I to argue.
