Fascinating. RT @WillBrinson: Bill Belichick is very enthusiastic about getting baseball players on his roster: pic.twitter.com/K26qi13xcK

    Re: Classic Belichick

    Q.  You guys like those baseball players. They've worked out pretty well for you.

BB:  Not necessarily.  I don't think that's any kind of a prerequisite.  A coincidence.

    Q.  Are there any specific skills from baseball that translate to the football field?

BB:  I don't know.  Maybe he can throw the halfback pass, I don't know.

    Q.  Hand eye coordination?

    BB:  I'm not sure.

is this for real, true? if it is, doesn't BB kind of sound like a moron?

Actually, no - sounds like classic BB training camp response to me.

    Re: Classic Belichick

The media asks so many stupid questions and even though it's part of Belichick's job to talk to them he obviously doesn't enjoy it.

On the other hand, maybe he's enjoying the fact that he's messing with them.

This is classic Belichick. His first answer that it's "a coincidence" answered all the other questions. But they kept on asking them anyway.

How anyone who calls themselves a Pats fan even rolls their eyes at his responses is a joke...these answers are CLASSIC BB!

It's early, way too early to poke the BB bear!

These kinds of responses make me hope he gets called as some kind of witness in the Hernandez trial.

I would NOT want to be a lawyer questioning that man...they'd better be very careful with their wording.

    That seems more appropriate.

If you want insight into BB...watch a Football Life, or read Patriots Reign by Michael Holley. That book is amazing. I HATED Tom Jackson before reading it, and it gave me such satisfaction to find out how BB spoke to him after beating the Panthers in SB38.

When walking across the field well after the game, ESPN still had there set-up. Tom Jackson says "Hey coach, nice game."

"Fk you" was the only reply as BB walked by.

That's what happens when you run your mouth like you did without EVER talking to a SINGLE PLAYER OR COACH before stating what he so strongly did. And especially when you never apologize or answer for it either publicly or privately when it's proven just how completely wrong you were.

From NE, to you Uncle Tom, one big "FK YOU!"
