I really like him alot -
But he has said a couple of things I hvae trouble with
1) Gronk is great cause of TB
and was not much in college
Of course if you don't have a great QB
you won't hhave a lot of catches
But - he is big, he is fast , he has great hands
and he is condeierd by some to be the op 1/2
TE blockers
2) TB doesn't have a great arm!
I have never heard that before
I do believe that TB has gotten
stronger from 2001 - but have never heard
he doesn't now have a great arm before
I do remember that Charlie Weiss siad that TB was the
very best long passer in the league when he was OC
Of course Colin could be listening to Trent Dilfer too much
(who I also like) - but he is a Pro Peyton and Rodgers guy
any thoughts?? -

Cowheard is a tool... I've never seen such a flip flopper, any which way the wind blows with that guy. Nobody makes a better career out of stating the obvious than he, then mixes in some wild hyperbole to seem edgy. I can imagine him throwing a football, it would look like a dainty girl throwing a punch... ugly. -

He is interesting to listen to and is, sort of, all over the place with his "thoughts"!! Where did he come up with that idea Brady has "no arm"? He doesn't see those laser passes he throws? Distance is not the necessary measure of a strong arm. -

Gronk would be good with any QB, but Brady makes Gronk great. On Brady's arm, Brady hasn't had a good arm since 2007. His deep ball is terrible, it's gotten much better this season. Last year, it was at an all time low. Brady is accurate though. -

I have heard Cowherd make the Point, that if Gronk played in Cleveland he would not have this kind of year. He is right, Brady has made alot of receivers better. He was not saying that Gronk is not a Great Talent, just that on a Team like Cleveland or Seattle the Tight Ends get lost. Cowheard loves BB, and is always complimentary of the Pats. We have enough AHoles with ESPN who hate the Pats.Plus Jets fans hate him. -

Yeah I actually watch a little of The Herd and 1st and 10 while having coffee before work and have heard Cowherd also say Brady is the best QB in the league,is the mst accurate QB perhaps in NFL history. I never heard him say anything negative about Brady's arm, thats surprising.
I also agree that Gronk wouldn't be putting up the numbers without Brady throwing him the ball and being in our system.
Then again we're probably getting some conflicting reports because of what Wozzy said, Cowherd can be a flip flopper. Like most sports reporters. -

Like most ESPN mouthpieces his main job is to make controversal statements to stir up the audience. -

Didn't hear the Brady arm comments, but did hear him argue that Jimmy Graham is a vastly superior athlete to Gronkowski. I guess because Graham played hoops. Whatever, it's just his opinion. Graham is a gifted athlete, and maybe he has superior leaping ability. But Gronk is a bigger man, better blocker. Both are great, can't agree with Cowherd that Graham is vastly better. Put Graham in NE or Gronk with Brees, and they're probably both doing about what they're doing now. -

Yes he loves TB and BB
He likes their smarts and the way
they carry themselves
To me - TB can make all the throws
when he has to. Some of these same scouts
say it about Andrew Luck-
but its not always wise to throw as hard as you can
on the long ball - who does he really ahve to throw it to
since Moss left? And its not part of the game plan
as i belive BB got tired of relying on that type of passing attack
and went TE
I think GRonk has great great hands and noone wants any aprt of
tackling him - he will have to be tuff in these next 2 games
and beat the snot out of those coming up on him
I think Cowherd is inundated with ESPN types
who like to rip the Pats -
he does think the Patys have the least talent
but i seenm to think they have the most
"football players"
It took him a while to get the Pat D
I do like when he does
What did I get Right
and
What did I get wrong
