    COLTS O LINE

What a suprise Baltimore go in and lay an egg against Indy after looking like world beaters last weekend. As much as I hate to say it Indy's O Line is so much better than the Pats is now. They give Manning the time he needs and are doing a much better job of keeping him healthy than the Pats line are for Brady. Also the much maligned Indy D kept what looked last week like an unstoppable running force to 3 points.

we've known for a long long time that the colts o-line was much better, but the thing is: their d-line is better too.

The colts have had very good drafts the 2006-8 seasons, while ours mostly stunk the place up.  That is why at this moment they are a few steps ahead of us.

It's nice to see that many Pats fans have settled back into an objective viewpoint regarding the Pats vs. other teams in the NFL. That makes this board interesting to visit again. Pats fans are generally very knowledgeable about football, so it's good to read their thoughts.

Colts started 2 new o-linemen this year replacing second round picks from 07 and 08.  Kyle Devan is a udfa picked from the arena league.  Charlie Johnson was a 6th rd pick from 06 that got experience all over the line filling in for injured players until he took the LT spot away from Tony Ugoh.

It will be sad, but the colts will lose the best oline coach, Howard Mudd, in the league after this year.

    Re: COLTS O LINE

Pats offense lost the game last week, with the turnovers leading to 21 points.  Defense gave us the one bad play on the long run, but other that that not too bad.  Ravens not that good.  Pats just bad, especially on offense where they scored 14 points in both their last 2 playoff games, agianst the dredful Giants on the SB and last week.  If you cannot score more than 14 points, you do not deserve to win. What happened to the vaunted offensive scroing machine. Starts with protection.
