Thats why I have always questioned why Brady was SB 36 MVP...Antwoan Smith should have gotten the award.....

    Re: Comparing Other Pats SBs

Weis just seemed to put out a more balanced offense than McDaniels or O Brien. Dillion was hugely important and had the near perfect blend of speed and power. The Chargers have to sign Floyd, Jackson and Tolbert (i think). Hard to see them signing all three. A bowling ball that punishes the opposing D Line like Tolbert would be ideal. The spread with no one in the backfield is a completely predictable playcall and signal to teams that the Pats are clearly not running the ball. And ,as I often say, when an offense becomes predictable it plays right into the defense's hands.

Personally I'd like to see what Ridley and Vereen can do. If Faulk retires the Pats could draft a RB/FB to pick up the blitz in the draft (4th or 5th round). Still have to see If Welker and Law Firm are back.
