Could LT(jets) being looking to become a Patriot

LT had high praise today on an Espn interview today for the Pats and Tom Brady. He was on trying to clarify what went wrong with dah jets. And he ended up saying he is not sure if he will retire or keep going. But his praise for the Pats made me wonder if he was looking for his next job.

I just happened to catch an interview today on Espn. I was stunned at all the praise he gave the Pats. The interviewer was Suzy Kolber.

I saw it also, and was surprised he wasn't his usually "Pats hating" self.  He was very respectful and actually had said some nice things.

Well, the Pats don't really have a guy with a visor who pouts on the bench.

I'm pretty sure BB is still mad about the "classy" post game interview he did a few years ago.  I don't think BB forgets ANYTHING.

I saw the same show and thought it was weird he was praising TB and the Pats (after all his crying in SD 2006 - no class, etc).

But I agree with most here, I still think he is a cry baby and would not want him on the Pats.  I'll take Woodhead and Ridley anyday over him.

Maybe he just realized his entire NFL career has been on punk teams filled with thugs.

This guy called the Pats a classless organization and said it comes from Bellicheck after he got in a fight with Ellis Hobbs for doing the Merriman "Lights Out" dance on the middle of their homefield after the Pats comeback playoff win. He refused to shake any Pats players hands after the loss either, and kept mouthing off about the patriots as the video tape scandal broke out, and later when he came to the jets about relishing the change to take on the pats twice a year. He essentially burnt any bridges he had with the Patriots many times over.

LT will never ever be a Patriot or I'll eat my hat.

    Here's his postgame

Personality aside, LT did have a better year on the field than Faulk. Not saying that he should have a spot on the team, but his on field performance indicates he can still contribute as a 3rd down or rotational back. I prefer to see the Pats carry 4 backs next year and would be happy to see Benny, Woody, Ridley and Vereen as those 4. It's fine to pile on LT for what he says or said. But his performance on the field indicates he could help most NFL teams.

He also said-- If they ain't cheating, they ain't winning.

He's obviously auditioning for a job on ESPN and will probably get it.
