YOU da man e~! Something about like mid-90's and before rap-style, that I LOVE. Dre's "The Chr#nic" (Let me Ride, here-The day the --- took over) Cypress Hill's first album (P!gs, Hand on the Pump,, How I could just Kill a man), Jay Z's Bllack Album and even Eminem's first 2 Albums (esp. song "I'm a Soldier)=Simple beat with that gangsta toughness and some kinda cool Latino flair, I dig that stuff... Most Rap now simply s#cks...Nobody's good enough to lay a simple beat and just take it over with their hard lyrical skills, Instead they need 12 singers, track cut with 35 other tracks mixed and then Alicia Keys and 5 other people singin the chorus.

Early to mid '90's Me and my buddies always had NWA Straight outta compton, ( All the solo EZ-E, Ice Cube, Dr Dre,) Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill in the Tape deck. I hear you on the new stuff..The only stuff that really floats my boat now is Eminem for rap. I can't tell my nieces and nephews though.
Funny thing is we were all hard core heavy metal dudes back then and Somebody slid us a copy of Straight outta Compton. I had to listen to it like 20 times before I could stop laughing thru the lyrics. Talk about hard core stuff. Totally original though, that's why I liked it so much..Same thing with eminem. He's got some sick Lyrics but nobody ever did anything that sounds remotely like it.
I like the youtube vid. First time I've heard that one. -

Please, Talk about the pot callin the kettle black, BECAUSE this is COMPLETELY Delusional in itself... IF you see a guy with say one leg, you don't ignore him AT ALL...SO, you tiptoe around him, and make sure you kick the other leg out from under him. Trully, God gave him only 1 leg because he did something awful to anger God...and god would want him to never forget that fact. -
