    Maybe to a one-year, incentive-laden deal, maybe longer term with even more incentives (particularly an incentive-based opt-out if he outplays the terms)

    Guy got benched rightfully so for dropping so many touchdown passes, and at 591 yards and 2tds I have to think he'd be cheap

    This would be like getting a young Randy Moss (contract whining, talent level, and all), or if you prefer, a Bill-Gates-version (very rich man's version) of Ochocinco (who can return kicks, too)

    And he's one of maybe four or five guys in the league who can run over the top of an opposing safety even when they know he's running deep, even with said safety rolled over to his side of the field pushed back an extra 7 yards

    Ummm . . .   the guy can't catch.

    And Julian Edelman can do everything Jackson can do on punt returns.

    Saying nothing of his inability to catch balls, and his unwillingness to take hits, Jackson's #1 priority for his career is to get paid.  He will not sign a 1-year incentive-laden contract because I can guarantee you that some team will get suckered into giving him a big money deal with a lot of cash up front.  He's going to the highest bidder and I think we can all agree the Pats won't be in the running for that.
