In response to Cutdown Thread:Ebert made the team. Riess already reported he is at practice. Anyone cut or being cut is not at practice.
Clear to see there is a serious youth movement going on with these Pats.
I wouldn't say that as there are 58 at practice not including Vollmer, Spikes, or a number of others that are sure starters -

In response to Cutdown Thread:Several ex Patriots have also been cut..
Tiquan Underwood
Darius Butler
Gary Guyton
Antwan Molden
Dan Gronkowski
I feel bad for Underwood. Hopefully he gets a shot somewhere else.
This is very tough, unforgiving and punishing league. I don't mind being a fan mostly because it is a complete curiousity to me but I am grateful I am not a player because I would not want to go through the ups and downs and not have control over the length of my career along with the effects of constant violence on my life. -

Yeah, the other players he referenced are Holley, harrison, Urban and lavarias were not spotted either. -

So cut out the FB, cut out the WR's. Thought was the team was going to go with 3 TE's. Are they now going to keep 4 TE's? --Gronk, Herdz, Fells, and Silveri? -

I won't be surprised if BB signs some guys cut from other squads or even pulls a trade. It is possible we'll end up with a FB or another WR before the weekend is done.
Then again, four TEs is more of possibility, especially given Hernandez's versatility. -

Tomorrow should be even more interesting, as certain NFL players don't clear waivers and are claimed by the Patriots. BB regularly gets himself a new player this time of year. Last year the Jets gifted Danny Woodhead to the Pats, thank you. -

At this rate the Pats may just go with two receivers. Lloyd and Welker. -

As it stands right now this was a bold defensive statement by BB. He refuses to caught short handed defensively. I am surprised with how few WR's are left on the team and I am curious to see what develops from both in the short term and long term in this regard. I think we will see Ebert on the practice squad, a QB, a fullback and hopefully Silvestri at TE.
