Belichick showing he is not afraid to get rid of guys who only have a year of experience... everyone was saying they only had a year of experience and that they deserve more time but as always Belichick thinks not.Wouldnt be surprised if the guys I mentioned arent on the team Week 1. -

Posted by fireballer58BB wants to see improvement from year to year. It's dangerous for a young player to actually regress. O'Connell "appeared" to regress, but it's not like we saw that much of him last year. Wheatley sure looks like he has taken a step back. He'll be interesting to watch. I'd think he would be tough to cut though. -

The decision has ziltch to do with O's second year status... but rather with his inability to make the cut. -

I think Crable and Wheatley will be on this team. The roster has space for them because of Bruschi's retirement (for Crable) and for Wheatly as our 5th corner behind Springs, Bodden, Wilhite and Butler. -

O'connell was cut because he wasn't very good. Crable hasn't been on the field for Bill to evaluate him. Wheatley is needed incase Springs goes down. -

You knew something was wrong when Walter was taking more reps in training camp. After like a week of being here he stole the job right from under O Connel so clearly this kid didnt know what he was doing.
