my bad UD, i didnt see this thread. thats the first thing i thought of. he was a beast all night. the prob is the scheme.. our guys get cut and they all contribute elsewhere.. when cut from the offense (minus underwooood(, they are all done elsewhere as well. butler was aggressive, a total ball hawk..
Our guys get cut and they all contribute elsewhere? Darius Butler had 3 ints his rookie year and has made ONE play in his career since! How did he do for Carolina before he was cut again? Can you even name one guy that left NE and "contributed elsewhere? Educate yourself on football before you try to discuss it you attention seeking tool. -

Indy fans should be stoked to have a great player like Butler anchoring their defense. Hopefully for many years to come.

To be fair, the guy is a back up on one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They just happened to be playing the worst offense in the NFL and the starter was hurt.
Further, the colts are now playing different schemes than just tampa 2. If you watched any of the game (don't know why you would - colts/jags), the announcers pointed out that due to the inept panthers offense, the colts were sitting on routes because the could. They got burnt a few times, but the scheme worked.
BTW - Butler may be the defensive player of the week as he had 2 picks including a pick 6 and a fumble recovery. That'll make Bill happy.

Well because this is the obvious proof that Bill Belichick is an overrated general manager and head coach who has no idea how to evaluate talent or build a football team. I mean, one guy (of the hundreds) he cut two years ago actually made a good play or two in an NFL game. Never mind that it was against quite possibly the most inept offense in the league. Butler has apparently morphed an all-pro level talent who would be starting for any team at this point, the true shutdown corner the Pats have been missing. Another example of a guy BB misjudged. Just like all the other all-pros he cut like.... uhhhhh, ummmmm, errrrrr.... -

I believe most of us here, can get a pick 6 off of Jacksonville too.....they are terrible....
