Should we be worried?  All week guys have been telling us that teams that "go for it" and make flashy free agent signings are doomed to lose.

AND A 3RD ROUNDER, BECAUSE Revis does not count towards comp picks because he was a release!!! So Pats get a pick for Talib!!!

It didn't cost much more than it would have cost to franchise Talib for one year.

    Good signing.

If we get Peppers, this FA year will be just as good if not better than Denver's aquisitions. I still think we need one more good WR to finish off our FA signing then build through the draft.

Can't we franchise him next year? Think about it, we get him for 1 year 12 milly, franchise him next year for 1 year 11 million. You get him for the 2 years of his prime snd have no financial commitment afterward!

Seems win win for the rah rah crowd huh? If BB doesn't do anything it's the system he won with all these years and doesn't need to sign big names or high talented players and anyone calling out for a quality signing are just whinners. If he spends big on a FA it's no going for it because the player was worth it and BB outsmarted everyone and everyone who said BB doesn't sign players are whinners. But they will never admit it

Bedard seems to be tweeting that its happening must have meant its a handshake deal at this point.

Look at it this way. He came to Foxboro as soon as he could and he took a disount to play for a team that has a shot.

He could have gotten more elsewhere.
