Actually, how much of the play calling does Brady do? I realize the first series or so is pretty much planned out before the game, audibles and certain plays for certain defenses, but does anyone know if Brady has free-reign on alot of the calls?

Oh, and having No. 12 under center doesn’t hurt, either.

“The offense always goes through him,” Zimmer said. “The thing that impressed me about him – they like to run the football. They can pretty much do anything. They can run the football well, they’ve got good play-actions. He controls a lot of it.”

Right dumbkoff, and if BB didn't LIKE the way he is controlling it, he would have him control it differently.

Another day, another bludgeoning of the village imbecile.

"No offense to some QBs, but all of em don't do that." - D Revis (on Brady's calling out the D at the line and then maybe choosing to audible on NFLNs 2011 100 greatest players)

Again, in no way, shape or form does just any QB have full autonomy like a Brady or Gomer. Absolutely not.

Last one I remember having full autonomy was Jim Kelly. I'd assume Favre had some towards the end but I remember watching NFL films and Favre jokingly saying how Holmgren would get mad at him for changing the call he sent in.

Of course he does.  Gomer and Brady have been infamously known to have total autonomy based on what a defense shows, pre snap, after the call comes in.

Yeah dumbkoff, it's called an audible. It's been around for decades. Most every veteran QB has the authority to do that. If the HC doesn't like how they do that, they reign them in. You're an imbecile.

Yeah Brady does control a lot of it...too bad he doesn't control the draft and our free agency signings...we may of won a Super Bowl over the last ten years...or built a defense that didn't take half a decade.

What about his mediocre or poor SB play?

What SB are you talking about dumbkoff?

2007, where he had no picks despite getting sacked 5 times and being hit some 20 times while playing on a bad wheel, and throwing the go ahead TD in the waning moments? That SB?

2011, where he had a 100 passer rating going into the final drive the defense collapsing to lose the lead late forced on him? That SB?

You are the poster child for moron.

"Anything else with that? It's a well known fact Gomer and Brady run their offenses and don't need OCs."

Yah - but, any head coach worth his stones can sit a guy down, either at half time, in between games, and so on, and tell them, "you're not running the shotgun anymore."

This is what you don't understand.

    One more time:

your relentless Brady-bashing has a boomering effect because you are actually bashing your idol Belichick and pointing out his pathetic inability to control his own quarterback - not on a play by play basis, but certainly on a game by game and season by season basis.

And no, just trading Welker is not enough to establish what you want. You sit a guy down and tell him what you expect, and if he violates that, he's on the bench.

I suspect part of your problem comes from your life experience, guessing you have never managed anyone or been evaluated as a manager.

So if you stop bashing Brady, you'll also stop your body blows on Belichick.

Give it some real thought before posting more 10, 20, 100 more posts of this drivel in the next few days please.

And is a good thing too.  That is why Brady-led offenses place 1st, 3rd, 11th and 13th on the alltime season scoring lists while winning nearly 90% of their games.  You define retarrded.

Are Brady's last 3 AFC title games at home with 3 TDs and 7 INTs retahded too? What about his mediocre or poor SB play?

I don't care about his regular season, fantasy league stats or where our offense "ranks".  I care how it's run.

Any fan pleased or not concerned with Tom Brady's play lately in January in his chosen, preferred style of offense, is a moron at this point.

The ONLY reason we made it to that point was because of Brady.....period. If we had an average QB, we don't make the playoffs for the last 5 years (see Cassell, Matt).

You are the most mocked poster this site has ever seen, topping even Underpuppy and Leon.  It is NOT because you are a misunderstood genius.

THat little premise is becoming a faded myth at this point, too. UTTER TRASH.

BB is the best coach of all time and when the golden bouy decides to put the drawbridge up out in LA in a few years, whoever that next QB is, will prove that to be a myth.

BB is why we win 10+ games every year, not Brady. Wake up. That was debunked in 2008 with Matt Cassel whisked off the bench, having not played in a decade in Week 1.

11 wins is because of BB's coaching and leadership.

The D bailed out our offense numerous times (middle of the year after Moss trade) in 2010, in 2011 and this past year.  When they don't, Brady is never the one held accountable with 2 and 3 INTs.

Christ, without our Ds in 2007 or 2011, we don't get to a SB. It's almost like he was trying to lose this games for us.

Get over it. You and your ilk cannot change the facts, the evidence, the truth or history.

Brady has the MOST to prove of ANY player on this team come January. Period. Period. He's been AWFUL overall in the AFC title games, mediocre at best in SBs.

    Ain't good enough.

Can to venture our record, playoff and SB appearances/wins without having Brady? I cannot believe you are actually saying we would be the same or perhaps even better without Brady And using 1 season of cassell as your example. That is just plain old stupid. Your alex smith for Tom Brady trade now makes sense in the context of this not so well thought out hypothesis. You are out to lunch, a few cards short, mentally challenged or just simply psychotic.
