    Defensive Player of the Year

No clear front runner but i thought McCourty made the discussion.

Devin McCourty should be at least talked about but he would have to have 10 picks and around 80 tackles for him to even be considered.

He will win it one year but not as a rookie. Ray Lewis probably wins it.

I doubt that because his stats will go down because no one will dare to throw his way. Thats a good thing though!

Harrison is probably the best but I'm not voting for him. He's one of those guys that does everything well for his position and I wish he played for us.

i voted for McCourty but if rests the rest of the season they'll give it to Matthews or TP. sacks carry as much weight as INTs

Re: Defensive Player of the Year

Mayo and Vince are the likely two defensive players on the Pats are likely to get some love, but Devin is a rook. He'll get none.

Mayo leads the NFL in tackles.
Without Vince, the Pats wouldn't have to worry about McCourty in coverage because everyone and their mothers would run on us.

None will get the award because

McCourty, Mayo and Vince play in the 30th ranked yards defense in the NFL.
