Here it is:
New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was sentenced to 30 days in jail and two years of probation Thursday morning after he was found guilty last month of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, The Boston Globe reported.
Dennard will begin serving his jail sentence on March 1, 2014, according to The Globe. He also was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
The judge at the sentencing said she would consider shortening or eliminating Dennard's jail term if he follows all the terms and conditions of his sentencing, The Globe reported.
Dennard was arrested April 21, 2012, in Lincoln, Neb. He faced up five years in prison on the charges.
