I already posted on another thread, he and his family are going to have a difficult time living in Massachusetts after the comments he made. How does he realistiically think that people will react to his comments. I really hope that he loses his job. -

I emailed WEEI and told them I will not listen to the station when he is on and will listen to the sportshub instead. CSNNE and the tailgate also got an ear full. I will also never go to the steakhouse again. I could not stomach seeing him while eating. -

I missed most what he said, but heard him trying to defend himself on Weei today. In my opinion the guy is a typical x jock/bully. He just comes off as a jerk to me. I understand his allegiance to the Giants were he spent a large part of his "career", but if you are going to be on the radio being an "analyst" for the Patriots and enjoy all the fruits of what that brings you...high paying job, good hours, own your own restaurant - you don't go on stage and rah rah the Giants and act like I'm sure he did in high school and unfortunately most of his adult life. You have to be smarter than that. You don't go to some free dinner/event for the Giants and pep rally the opposing team with one thousand of their fans and supporters. I don't care if the Patriots don't actually pay your salary or not - you've made a very good living off THIS team for the past 15 years. You should of laid low and kept your big mouth shut. -

The solution will be to fire him. I hope that if they receive enough complaints about him, they will fire him. I realize that he played for the Giants, but he lives and is employed in MA and shouldn't be making negative comments about the Patriots. -

mthurl, you should really listen to the comments he made during the pep rally, it will really p*ss you off. Knowing how passionate the fans are here he should have been smarter than that to make those comments. -

More interesting posts on WEEI about him from other Patriots fans. The majority hope that he is fired and won't patronize his restaurant again. If interested you need to send a complaint to WEEI about him. I plan on doing this. -

I did not see the video. I heard talk about it yesterday and today on WEEI. They were mostly rationalizing and explaining it away in his defense. You know, circling the wagons.I gotta' say, as a business man (sales), hearing sound bites of him dumping on New England as a place to live, saying he feels better in New York, that he "struggles" in New England, it came off as really stupid and really offensive, and yes, dumbfounding that he could so grossly miscalculate.I think most of us can tolerate him siding with his former team and the current team of his son, the Giants. We could even handle him giving encouragement. A pat on the back for the Giants would be understandable to most New England fans aware of his background. But he coupled that pat on the back with several hard slaps to the face of the people of New England - the ones that have buttered his bread for years. For that, there are and should be consequences.But to make matters worse, instead of apologizing in the subsequent damage control, he made excuses and said he "struggled" to deal with his conflicted allegiances. Bull. In no way does that explanation fit the context nor tone of his public derision of New England. I guess he not only doesn't like living and working in the region, but he also thinks New Englanders are idiots, capable of falling for his BS excuses. I have heard and watched people lie to me for 30 years while doing my sales ("buyers are liars", and it just happened to me again today...and the day before...). Hearing him, there is no way that guy is being level with people. Nor are his apologizing peers at WEEI. Pitiful.The only real explanation is that he was probably wasted and his inhibitions were lowered while his stupidity quotient was raised, but he will not admit it.I have only been to that slot parlor once, and saw the steak house. Now I know where not to go for steak. And like others, I will tune out WEEI when he is broadcasting.Man, what a moronic, jackhole thing for him to do. He'll probably lose his restaurant. Maybe even his broadcast career. Total turkey. -

I just sent them a comment telling them I will listen to NONE of their programming while he remains an employee. I travel NE for a living. I have them tuned in a lot. That's over while his stupid yap can be heard there. -

I listen to the interview and too all of the peeps that are sticking up for him and not one of them,or him has explained why he had to mention the five Patriots players in his rant. There is not a person out there who would critize his choice to feel the way he does with his history with the giants and the fact his son plays for them. When he dis the Patriots players he was out of line and untill he apologizes for that than he really hasn't admitted anything.
