Name was a cheesy play on words....... avatar, my daughter dug up somewhere online, it is an F15 eagle which happens to be the fighter I build and I thought it was a cool pic, too!

    You build F15s?

    Yes Boeing St. Louis
And unlike most of the poeple who work in the offices, and just happen to be attached to that particulr program, I can say i go to work every day and put my hands in the plane and we make one of the most durable and capable air supriority fighters on the planet, if not the most. 101:0 air kill ratio, never been shot down! Sorry, grand standing. Hee, hee!

Interesting. In a previous industry I was in, customers of mine were partnered with Boeing. I forget exactly what components they were buying for, but they were an end user.

I didn't realize they had a plant in St Louis.

    Anyway, that's pretty cool.

The St. Louis facility was orginally McDonnel Douglas, became Boeing in '97 with the buyout. So to avoid confusion F15s were desgned and biult by McDonnel Douglas. Now they are Boeing F15s

Now that is very interesting. I see how the name ties in now!

If you watch the Dirty Jobs video, Raccoon Cove, the place where Mike Rowe and his crew were filming, is just a stones throw from Acadia National Park. I've dug there many times.

My avatar is just a pic I happen to like.  It was taken while on vacation in Italy a couple of years ago at some Greek ruins about 90 minutes south of Naples.  Screen name is my initials (yeah, I know, really creative).

Condolences on the loss of your Dad, leonardo.

ATJ I was thinking your picture looked like it was from Pompei.

Actually it was taken in Paestum - a Greek settlement that dates to 600 BC.  Quite a site that goes on for quite a few acres.  It's perhaps 60 miles south of Naples.  We did visit Pompeii and Herculaneum on that trip though. Spent a day at Paestum; could have spent more; pretty impressive.

Nice one.  A photo of hot chick you seen while there would have been nice too.  Just saying, LOL!

No shortage of 'em in Italy, to be sure.  Most I saw were just up the coast from there in Amalfi.  Probably wouldn't have been the best form to snap a few shots though - had the wife along as well as daughter and son-in-law.  Doesn't mean the eye candy wasn't off the charts however.

No might not have been the best idea in that case, lol!!  However, you could have been a bit creative in taking some "scenery" pictures, hahah!!

My screen name is a name that I have used ever since I was in college and used to play bass in a garage band.  My Avatar is just a funny picture of Rondo when he terrorized the Knicks a few years ago.  Many friends who are Knicks fans so it was a fun series (and would have been this year too if RR and Sully were there).

Yeah, something like that. Rocky was in his 50s and sparred some 70 rounds with Ali to get the footage.

He had a great wind up where he would spin almost all the way around - show the batter the number on his back and turn back around and throw the ball.  I don't think I've ever seen anybody throw the ball like him since.

saw him at the near-end of his career, mid 70's on so I missed his best years but he was still colorful as hell and a great pitcher
