Did anyone see Rex Ryan STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO THE TRIPPING GANG???

    Watch it here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxqN_t9XI64

LOOK WHO IT IS STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO THE TRIPPING CREW AT 0:46!!!

It's Rex Ryan, who claims he never saw it or heard of it before!  He claims that the practice squad players and the strength coach acted on their own and he WAS NOT AWARE OF IT.

There he is staring at Nolan Carroll as Carroll went down.

    Please make this public.

The idea that they're trying to drag the Patriots into this garbage is ridiculous enough as it is.

Re: Did anyone see Rex Ryan STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO THE TRIPPING GANG???

Ryan has a problem here. It's pretty obvious that they've set Assholi up to be the fall guy and he seems to be okay with that . . .   for now. What Ryan has essentially done, by vehemently denying any knowledge of something of which, anyone with two eyes and a brain can see, he was well aware, is cornered himself. He's either a liar or a fool.

In fact, in this case, he appears to be both. On one hand, he's tossing his assistant coach directly in front of the speeding bus. That's okay. Sometimes the infrantry has to fall on its collective sword. The problem is, available video doesn't seem to support his denial . . .   so there he is, whith his hand in the cookie jar.

And even if you do believe that Rex had no idea any of this nefarious chicanery was going on around him, all that makes him is an idiot who has no control over his staff. If his assistants are running around with their own secret agendas behind his back, while he is happily spewing braggadocio (and going to get a goddamn snack), and he appears untroubled (or, at least, not very troubled) by any of it  . . .  what kind of a leader does that make him?

Rex is fortunate in at least this much: The league (and by "the league" I mean the commissioner) has no interest in heaping new and bigger problems upon its chosen franchise, to compound its own apparent rush to destruction. I don't doubt that you will hear a lot of rhetoric about an "investigation." Neither do I doubt that absolutely nothing will come of it. Hands will wring and empty words will pass and, ultimately, all of this will go away, with perhaps a token wrist-slap from the league . . .   but more likely, nothing at all.

As Pats fans, we're probably going to have to be satisfied with chuckling quietly to ourselves as Green New Jersey fades tiredly back into oblivion where it belongs, and Rex Ryan becomes just another one of those assistants (albeit, a loud one) who couldn't slice the ham at the big kids' table.

The fact Goodell hasn't held the Jets responsible for their own employee's actions means he won't do anything here.

    Goodell is a joke.

He has rapists and dog abusers trying to help make him money, but when it comes time to use his power correctly and accurately, he just can't get himself to be consistent.

Yup.  It's obvious he knew since he was standing right there watching the trip take place, but they need to sell seat licenses and attract fans in the country's biggest media market... so nothing, and no media types to point this out either because they also don't want to rain on the Jets' parade...

Oh well.  You're right about the satisfaction part - it would still be great to watch the Jets fade back into obscurity, starting this weekend where Sanchez shouldn't stand a chance against the Steelers' defense

The reason why the jest did not win the Super Bowl last year is because of the Patriots.  Anyone can see that, yeah?
