no not much but they got it done. buffalo had the better passing game by far. i think a lot of it was because the running game was going so well. dobson getting hurt was a factor too imo. having brady back there certainly helps the running game as teams will always play pass first. its awesome seeing them run like that. blount was of course huge but even ridley had a big day.

Not much (14 completions, 122 yards, 1 TD), but I'm not sure that's a good thing.  The running game was nice, but we need a passing game too.

Conditions were so bad out there, though, I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from this game.

I am starting to draw conclusions. Other than Edleman and Vereen who turned an easy pass reception into an INT there is no one I trust to make a play. Amendola is a real disappointment, their tight ends are the worst in the NFL and Dopson can't stay healthy.

Rain and good O line play the Pats were able to run the ball.  Blount was a beast.

agreeed...   Tough to throw but the true players of this team showed up .  edelman huge.  that first catch he made for a first down was a total scud from brady...   low and outside but the dude caught it.

total team effort once again and Mc D was better.   much less empty spread... and more screens.

I agree that the dearth of receivers is a potential problem for this team.  Whether the run is as improved as it looked today, I'm not sure.  Even if it is, the lack of a passing game will limit scoring opportunities, reduce redzone effectiveness, and put more pressure on the defense to play well.  Still, this team seems remarkably resilient and tough-minded this year.  I've said that all along--they don't give up and they seem to find ways to win even against what appears to be overwhelming adversity.

Big puddles on the field from the pouring rain, plus cold temperatures.  You put the ball in the air at your own risk.  In any case, Buffalo made a statement early that they weren't going to defend against the running game.  Their wonderful pass defense would do it all.  So, BB didn't pass much.

BB apparently adjusted his team as best he could to take away Buffalo's running game, so when Buffalo got behind their inexperienced QB had to throw.  He did all right, considering.

other than edelman hes got nobody to throw too that can consistantly make a play. we saw that once gronk was back in form brady throwing for over three hundred yards a game. i wonder outside of gronk has a tight end or all tight ends combined even caught ten passes this entire season?

very good running game ..not many options to throw too and bad weather were the reasons for the limited output. just having brady back there makes the running game better.

As long as Brady doesn't want to make it about him, Denver has no way of defending that.

Sorry, they don't.  The media will pretend Denver has it all, but the potion is here with Brady, if he wants it.
