People don't get it. They can't beat man coverage because Branch and whoever else on the outside are medicore. It's not some mystery that is how you stop the offense. Play man and flood the middle. -

People wonder why 2nd and 3rd round talent doesn't pan out....um, it's 2nd and 3rd round talentthis is why this defense sucks so bad...full of late round talent. 1st rd talent produces 1st rate defense! Value picks dont work, trading out of first round doesnt work, using the 17th pick on offensive line doesnt work. Drafting first round defensive studs is what works. Look around the league at top defenses. They have all drafted well.

I agree O Brien isn't helping either. NE needs to win today and is playing like they don't care at all if they win. This is sad. -

Regardless of how the Patriots defense is playing, they're 3-7 in 3rd downs and they've given up 17 points. Compared to the Patriots offense that's 6 possessions 6 points and they have less than 50 yards on offense. -_- -

Gotta feel great knowing we have a great punter on the eve of the playoffs.Sarcasam aside, I add my vote to bring in Hoyer. He can run and Tom is still too valuable to let him get masacred out there in a losing cause. -

Giants need to win today. Might make day a little better. I guess if we lose we also lose the # 1 seed according to these analyst. this sucks how you gonna let miami beat you at home. what the heck. where are rob and aaron and nobody can stop bush. -

i will get flamed for this but when the pats lose in the playoffs it may be time to rethink the BB ea. we are all appreciative of his efforts in winning 3 sb's but does he get a free pass for th rest of his life when his deisions have negated the prime seasons of one the greatest QB's ever? these are his guys that stink. his defense that stinks. his decision to not have coordinators. etc. reminds me of francona. a some point the league passes them by. -

Game reminds me a lot of the Pitt game.
Pats got killed today. Might manage to keep it close in the 2nd half, but this is the flattest the Pats' O has looked this season. Problem with sitting Brady is, they really need to win this one. Pitt and Balt will win today. -

BTW Branch really needs his snaps limited, hurt or not he is ineffective against cover 1. Can't run anything but comeback routes against soft zones. I'd rather see Ocho look clueless, then Branch be downright unable.

right now you are barking up the wrong tree. the d has had to defend seven possessions. they've forced a stop on four of them. that is not bad. not great. but not bad.
