two picks away and Rey Matthew Brown are still on the board.  This couldn't have played any better for us

Possible if Oher falls to 23 the Pats can take him move Light to right tackle next year

I don't think there's a chance if he l l we take him, I'll turn the TV off no way when you'll have RM or Matthews on the board

    Re: Draft 5

OK. so Beanie Wells and RM could be there. They are looking like they "could" be the fallers we all talked about if Cleveland doesn't take either.

That leaves Britton, Butler, Wells, Maualuga, and Vernon Davis.

That really isn't a bad crop.

Ne will get at least one of the three fallers Wells, RM or Davis.

OK. So decent pick by the Lions. I would have taken a tackle but a TE like Pettigrew makes a ton of sense.

Minny needs some help on the OL down the line.

Who knows if CLE hangs on to their pick.

Ne has options here. Trading down themselves is one of them. These players create action man.

    Re: Draft 5

I won'tcry if Cleveland takes RM. That is the *exact* kind of defense that will render a player like him feckless. He is best in a really good defense where he can roam the field making plays.

    Wow. NE has OPTIONS.

Wells, Maualuga, Oher. This is great!

Plus the regular group of players like Butler and Davis and Britton.

    I am ecstatic.

    Re: Draft 5

Alright so my last second prediction of a trade down was right.

It makes sense with all these players falling. Even going backa few selections you can still get the guy you want.

RM won't make it through these three. I can't think he will.

    Re: Draft 5

so if you are ATl or Miami isn't Rm really intriguing?

    So isn't Wells.

This negates some action on my draft board here I think.

I am glad Oher didn't slip too far. He is a good kid.

I wouldn't rule out another trade down either. The Pats are following a guy and getting themselves a deal.

Good pick for Baltimore and lets hope the Pats didn't let RM slip to the Dolphins. I hope the Falcons take RM right here but I see them grabbing E. Brown
