All I can say is how can you "forget" to pay for something and simply walk out of a store?

"Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, was allegedly cited Tuesday for shoplifting crab legs at Publix."

    And not just that, BUT:

"He will pay a small fine and will do community service. There was also crawfish and butter involved."

    Not only THAT, But!:

"In November, the associated press reported that Winston was questioned about his involvement in a long-running BB gun battle, and that a Burger King reported Winston was stealing soda in a ketchup cup."

...ANY-one seen the going price of groceries these days?!?  Good grief.  $32.72 are like 1 stick of butter, 4 king crab legs & a Dixie cup full of crawfish.  Food prices have just about doubled in a bit over a decade's time...Has your SALARY doubled in that span?  IF you're hungry, got 0 bucks, & just gotta shoplift for sustenance...sh_#t- ya might as well make a social statement and steal some crab legs @ $19.99 per.  Shoot...IF I'm hungry enough to steal & was decent enough not to take any College Booster $ (while makin' the University $ all day long)...Boy- I ain't takin' the Cambell's...punishment's the same, so I'm takin' the cavier.  USA's current Living Wage shame Me in to shaming myself through some form of thievery...f'it=I'm stealing big if I'm THAT broke and hungry.

    This makes national headlines.

But wholesale thievery on a statewide scale is just accepted:

So, utility companies take all the profits when things go well, but when things go bad...the customers shouls STILL pay?

I live in CT. These rich fks better pray I never get diagnosed with something terminal, because I'm coming for them.

Speaking of CT, insurance capitol of the world (gag), why is it that insurance companies higher ups have their offices built like safe rooms? Hmmm, wonder what they could POSSIBLY think would be coming after them, that they need their offices to be like vaults. No bs. Panic button and everything. If Nationwide is on MY side, if I'm in good hands with Allstate...what are they so fearful of?

The single person gets held over a barrel by the government, but if you're a big company who gets caught with your red hand in the cookie jar?

The judge, while commenting the amount is TOO LOW, holds up the decision!

And the real kick to the nuts of all of this? THe fine doesn't get paid to the consumers, who overpaid an estimated 300million, it gets paid to the GOVERNMENT! Who then shovels it into the ever increasing pit of debt. Awesome. The white house will one day burn again, and I'll be there to roast marshmallows on the embers.
