matt ryan was #5.. now its brady, flacco, peyton and the rodgers. espn does a segment each day.. assuming flac will be #4 with peyton at #3.. with rod and tb to battle for #1.. methinks they pick tb #2...its espn after all!

it's not so much BSPN as it's Rodgers is better...as for matt ryan at #5 dunno wat jaworski is thinking there

Jaws' rankings stunk. He put Matt Schaub higher than your boys RGIII, etc.

    He's a shill.

Peyton will be number one, he's a Peyton worshipper.

    He'll go

    Flacco, Brady, Rodgers, Manning

    That's debatable. Let's debate it.

    1) Rodgers

    2) Manning

    3) Brady

    4) Flacco

not my rankings, but assume it is Jaws

this is the only place I know of where someone can have an opinion and others accuse them of being wrong. It's not right or wrong, it's not fact, it's an "opinion"

leave to the brainiacs at BDC to say Jaws opinion is influenced by ESPN.

Does it really matter how Jaws or others rank QBs and other players and coaches?  It's only an opinion, however informed or biased it is.  The ultimate test will be what gets produced on the field. PManning consistently was rated #1 for years, he had great arsenal of receivers and RBs.  What has he won? One gifted Super Bowl.

I'll take Brady at #4, all the way to a 12-4 record and a deep run into the playoffs in 2013.

Pats will surprise a lot of people - on offense and defense!

Flacco is not a top 5 QB.  I know he just won a Super Bowl and had a nice postseason run, but looking at his entire body of work I just don't see it.

Top 5 current QBs IMO are as followed:

    1. Rodgers

    2. Brady

    3. Brees

    4. Manning

    5. Ryan

Top 5 QBs with the brightest futures (below the age of 30) :

    1. Rodgers

    2. Luck

    3. Ryan

    4. RGIII (would be higher, but I'm concerned about his knee as he relies mostly on his athleticism)

    5. Wilson

There is a TON of young QB talent in the league right now.  I'm very excited to watch these guys grow and to see if any build their legacies similar to a Brady, Manning, etc.

I would agree with these rankings I would think Stafford gets in on the "futures"

Stafford wont have an arm to throw with in the next 3-5 years if he keeps up all those pass attemps.

Ryan is a great QB, that just needs to back it up with postseason wins.

As for Jaws his rankins is just to create controversy and get people debating the order. Manning is the greatest regular season QB, but that's like saying I am the best shot at the range and then you get into combat and can't put anyone down. Thanks, but no thanks.

Jaws has been on Rodgers jock forever! So the number one spot is pretty much a given. The bigger question is where does he rank Brady? I'm guessing he will put him in the #2 spot based upon the numbers.

Re: espn FINAL 4 qbs... who tops JAWS' list?

Rodgers is probably the best in the game, via any objective analysis.

But I struggle to see a rational argument putting Brady above Manning, or Flacco above Brees and Ryan, for that matter.

    As far as I'm concerned...

    1) Rodgers

    2) Brady

    3) Brees

    4) Manning

    5) Ryan
