    Eugene Lockhart (On Trial)

This is a name from the past and I totally forgot he played for the Pats in the crap years right around the time Vincent Brown came on board and had a pretty good career.

    http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/dallas-cowboys/headlines/20100709-Former-Dallas-Cowboys-linebacker-Eugene-Lockhart-8302.ece

Anyway, look at this fleece job of the Pats by Jimmy Johnson/Jerry Jones:

1991-04-19, in exchange for the first overall draft pick (Russell Maryland), he was traded to the Patriots along with cornerback Ron Francis, linebacker David Howard, 1991 first round pick (#11 Pat Harlow) and 1991 second round pick (#41 Jerome Henderson).

    D'oh!

That looks like something the Jets would do.

See, ya gotta know that later you got hosed, when in the article RE: the traded players, 2 of the guys that'cha got, have all of 1 single sentence about their playing careers...And regarding the the 3rd guy, "Cornerback Ron Francis," you click on "Ron Francis" and it's the guy from The Hartford Whale, and ya click on "Cornerback," and it tells you what a cornerback is...

"It's almost exactly like something the Jets would do.  Remember that time they traded up from #25 to #14 in the first round?  Man, they got robbed.  Along with that 25th selection They had to give up their # 59th selection and their 5th rounder All they got back was the the Panthers 6th round pick and the best CB in the NFL.  Then their was that time they traded their 63rd selection and 89th to move up to 47th and take David Harris.  What has he done?"

Anna Nicole Smith was bloated, The iphone came out to rave reviews, and Don Imus said after he saw a pic of The Rutger's female BBall team: "That's some nappy headed h#s right there."  Three years later than 2007, Simith's dead, iphone's are unreliable, and Don Imus sits quietly off in a corner watching his eyebrows grow ever larger...

And, of course, 3 years post 2007, The Jets bagged a stellar Draft Class of:

    Kyle Wilson
    19 Tackles  0 FFs  0 Ints  0 Sacks  5 PDs

    And him...
    Vladimir Ducasse
    2 Games  0 Starts

    And him...
    Joe McKnight
    39 Attempts  189 Yards  0 TDs

    And him...
    John Conner
    8 Attempts  44 Yards  1 TD

In Response to Re: Eugene Lockhart (On Trial) : hmmm, let's see.  Are you really judging the 2010 draft class in the spring of 2011? Kyle Wilson playing behind Revis, Cromartie, & Lowry and Coleman on one of the best passing D's in the league.  McNight playing behind Greene, LT & Brad Smith on one of the best running teams in the NFL, though McNight did lead the NFL in punt return average.  Vlad playing behind one of the best olines in the NFL, Jon Conner playing behind one of the best FBs the NFL has ever seen in TRich.  I guess when you don't need to replace 1/2 of your starters, you can just draft for depth and future needs.  It seems like Mike T was thinking ahead.  Imagine that, a GM that has decided not to let his whole team get old at once.

Your new draftees seem to be more qualified to be live-at-home nurses for senior citizens, than pro football players...given the age of your team, the need's certainly there.

    lol!!!

     - Vernon Gholston, DeWayne Robertson, and everyone else for the past 20 years in the draft.

    Don't forget me!

     - Dustin Keller (1st rd pick)

    Or me!

     - Mike Nugent (3rd rd pick, Kicker)

    Tears!

Yeah, Phatty. That Keller is really a Pro Bowl delight. What a way to trade up!  He puts the fear of god into defenses!

He's no Hernandez (4th rd) or Gronkowski (2nd rd).

I love how Phatty cannot keep himself out of a thread.  Why do the Jets fans hang from the rafters during the draft when their time comes for the 1st rd pick every year?

    Is that an accident, Phatty?

Are we imagining what we see?

For once, it'd be nice to see you stay out of a Pats thread here.

But the list goes on... Let's not forget the debacle of moving up to take Keller.  That awful deal cost the Jets a 4th rounder to move up 6 spots.  Big deal, so they got a starting TE from his rookie year on.  That is hardly worth the 4th rounder (164th -that they actually got back in another deal).

    Wow!

They've built a winner with that strategy, too!  Wow!  All the way ini 2011 and beyond!

    Unstoppable!

    Sounds good, "Bralon"!

You really have us fooled as that Pats fan!  Right, Bralie?

    lol

Yeah, that one game Keller had in 2008 when NE was starting Lewis Sanders and Wilhite in the secondary.

    Wow!

Good thing you traded up for a TE in the first round!

How is Kyle Wilson doing? Is he still looking at film?

I love how he frames Wilson's rookie year as "playing behind Revis and Cromartie".

Typical, embarrassingly inaccurate Phatty Rex deluded Jets fan spin.

Wilson was BENCHED as the nickel back.

    That's a fact.

And we all see him got torched on every single play he was involved in.

    Wow!

All the way to the SB with those trades!  Good thing LT is looking so spry, especially late in the year.

That's why Shonn Greene starts, too, right, Phatty? lol

"We go for quality". - M. Tannenbaum

You sure have a funny idea about "quality", there, Mikey.  Tears!

For the 3rd STRAIGHT draft in a row, NE will have absolutely throttled NY on draft day.

Can we assume you'll never see a SB ring in your lifetime and your team just blew a golden opportunity last year?

What good is all this junk you think is so fantastic if you aren't winning anything?

You won no division title, no AFC Championship and no SB!  Again!

    LOSERS

The fact you even mentioned those names is the comedy of it all.

That means they once had those players on that team. lol

How is Mike Nugent doing these days?

Where do you think Vernon Gholston will end up?   Will Vladimir Ducasse be a solid back up?

    Tears!

Mark Sanchez's "outstanding" stats, worthy of being paid 15 million per year:

    TDs 29 INTs 33*

    QB Rating: 70*

    Comp%:  54.4*

*With top 5 running game and two All Pro WRs.

    lol!

GREAT return on that investment, Phatty!

Sell those PSLs and #6 Sanchise T-Shirts!

    Nah, let's really recap:

    1. Your IQ is very low.
    2. You are the ultra-homer of homers and completely deluded.
    3. You'll never see a SB in your lifetime.

    Enjoy!

    Re: Eugene Lockhart (On Trial)

Daniel Graham owns 2 SB rings and blew holes open for a handful of running backs here.

Watson was a disappointment, but NE didn't trade up for him.

    lol!!!

Poor Phatty. He swoops back in for a desperation zinger and still can't win.

PS Watson actually played in a SB to boot.

Dustin Keller announced he was on a SB team the last two years after the Jets traded up into Round 1 (I still can't believe a team trades into another round for a TE), and still is a loser.

    lol!

You done taking your beatings today, or do you want more?
