    Re: Eugene Lockhart (On Trial)

    "Mr T"?

Is this the same guy who doesn't know how to build a team that barely is better than .500?

    lol

Maroney was a cheap 1st rd bust and BB's only bust.  Watson does not quality as a bust, but a disappointment.  Watson started on many a good Pats teams.

The Jets corner the market on blowing the draft and have for 2 decades.   Your team is like a blind squirrel, stumbling across a nut once in a while.

You do a dance when this happens, Pats fans EXPECT to hit on 1st rounders.

Your team has TWO busts in the last 10 years in the top 10.  Christ, I may even be forgetting one.

Sanchez is not even All Pro.  He went 4th overall.

Is that a bust?  Not yet.   "Yet" being the key word there. When you take someone in the top 5, you better be getting All Pro material.

Starting on a SB team, regardless of where you were drafted, means you were good enough to start on that team.

Is this really that hard for you?  Do you think you were dropped more than once as a baby?

Also, what is a "doosey"?  Is that the name of your adult toy?

    Phat Rex exposed:

Guess who the Packers took with one of those picks? Guess what? THAT GUY CAUGHT THEiR GAME WINNING TD IN THIS YEAR'S SB.

You have taken an absolute beating here today. Might be your worst week yet.

Jets Trade Up, Draft Dustin Keller

The New York Jets sent a 2nd and 4th round picks to the Green Bay Packers to move back into the 1st round.

The Jets used the 29th pick on Purdue h-back Dustin Keller, a converted wide receiver who may or may not have seen a blocking sled during his career.

Keller enjoyed a meteoric rise up NFL draft boards after a scintillating workout at the Combine in February, and supplanted USC's Fred Davis as the top tight end in the minds of many draftniks. Keller is useless playing on the line, and I expect the Jets to use him much in the same manner as Indianapolis uses Dallas Clark.

"who may or may not have seen a blocking sled "

    Tears!

We get ours in Round 4 and we don't toss picks to do it, especially valued WRs who actually help a team win a SB.

    Get it yet, skippy?

    What?

Your team traded up for a combine phenom and fell for it.  Read that again, stupid.  They traded UP.  They lost a draft pick for the move.

He's not All Pro.  He's on Ben Watson's level.  And your team traded UP for him.

You can't trade up and then say "who cares?", dummy.

Here is a Jets' fan's comment on the day of the silly trade up:

Far from mapped out, but I am not as blind as yourself.

Pats fans have seen proof of which formula works better.

Gee, the Jets version or Belichick's? I am confused.

You are such a loser homer it's beyond pathetic.

    I didn't write that.

Even worse, Parcells went to a team that signed Neil O'Donnell. lol!!

I'll take this bizarre attempt to distract from the Jets thinking they landed a Pro Bowl TE by trading up, a concession of defeat on your part.

    Another loss for poor Phatty.

Do you really think by lying people are going to by your junk?

    Nothing else?

You think GB did not acquire a mid rd pick for allowing NY to jump over them?

What color is the sky in your world and how funny is this that you think multiple publications reported the trade incorrectly?

    lol!!

Rexie thinks the media is lying just to make the Jetsies look bad on draft day.  My god are you sick or what?

    http://www.jetsinsider.com/news.php?tab=nfl_news&storyid=2296

"The Jets pulled off a trade with Green Bay to move up six spots from #36 to #30 to select Purdue tight end Dustin Keller.

The Jets gave up one of their two 4th round picks (#113) to Green Bay for moving up and when the trade was announced there was buzz that the team may either select a wide receiver such as California's DeSean Jackson or a quarterback such as Louisville's Brian Brohm. Most were surprised when Keller's name was read."

Is now a good time to mention that the Jets traded their 3rd, 4th and 7th rounders in 2009 for Shonn Greene, yet Greene does not start?

    lol!!

Wow!  Good thing they did that!

    What team building!

In Response to Re: Eugene Lockhart (On Trial) : Are you a comlete tool?  The core of the patsies superbowl teams were TB (a very lucky pick) and a bunch of FAs.  BBs drafts are average.  Good picks and bad picks.  The team has accomplished as much the Jets since 2004.  You said it yourself.  Nothing!

    Accomplished nothing?

Yeah, rewriting the record books and going to a SB is really "nothing".  lol

That's some "nothing" your drippy b*nghole could only dream of in Jetland.

I am still in tears that the draft pick position that NY was supposed to select from drew Jordy Nelson.

Nelson was instrumental in helping GB win in NY's supposed 2010 SB season.  Apparently, Jordy Nelson wasn't buying into the 2010 Jets as SB champs.

You just can't make it up.  You just can't.

In Response to Re: Eugene Lockhart (On Trial) : You're still an idiot.  This is why nothing you post can be taken seriosuly.   Facts mean nothing to you.  The 113th pick the in 2008 NFL draft was Dwight Lowrey.  Who picked him, Jackazzz?

This is how dumb you are.

NY had two picks in Round 4. They traded one.  Don't get uptight when the initial report of which # it was in Round 4 was dealt.

Talk to the people reporting it. It still happened.

The reality is, the Jets used a pick to trade up for a TE in Round 1,when they could have had him in Round 2.

    lol!!!

Good thing they got giddy over his combine results, exclusively.

    tears!

    2010 season Jordy Nelson

"Building on strong outings in the 2010-11 playoffs against Atlanta and Chicago,[4] Nelson caught a 29-yard touchdown pass on third-and-1 with William Gay covering, for the first score of Super Bowl XLV. " In the balance of the game, Nelson struggled some and made no more touchdowns. However, he recovered from a dropped pass early in the fourth quarter to make a 38-yard play on the next down, taking the Packers to the Steelers' two-yard line.[6] Nelson was the top receiver of the game with 9 receptions for 140 yards (both career highs).

That's pretty much SB MVP material, Phatty.

That's who the Jets could have taken.  lol!!

    Good thing they traded up!

That was a good one.   One of their limited few in their entire last decade in the 1st rd.

    See how easy this is?

You're running out of ammo and retreating pretty quickly here.

    I'll give you a hint:

Go look at the SB Champs (GB Packers) last two drafts and then compare them to yours.

    Happy reading!

Pretty stupid considering your team hasn't won a division title in god knows how long.

Just admit that a wild scramble on draft day and being infatuated with players  like DeWayne Robertson or Vernon Gholston, or having inflated opinions of top 5 picks like Sanchez and Ferguson actually do a lot of harm in the big picture, especially in a cap league.

    lol!!

    Ellis?

He's solid, but nothing to brag about whatsoever.  Moss? Bryan Thomas or Blair Thomas?  lol!

Listen to yourself. You list like 5 good 1st rd picks in the last 10 years.
