Calm down! We're 5-2, tied atop the AFC East, and only two teams in the NFL have better records than us. There are clearly issues with this team, but things could be much worse. We lost to a tough team, on the road, who had something to prove. Could see this one coming from a mile away. Not perfect, but things could be worse. In a pretty good situation heading into the remainder of the season. Onto the Giants.

was one of 4 losses projected at beginning of season. ...
It was a little disconcerting to see our poor pass rush and secondary problems rear its ugly head again.
and it was a step back towards being a finesse team

How can you be calm when we have the worst pass defense in football. Their horrible in pass coverage. We can beat teams but we must score 36 points or more because that pass defense will give up some much.

The offense needs to be pushed and tested. Do we dump Ocho and get Randy because of this? I dont know, but this will sure be a motivation to do SOMETHING.

haven't we been learning hard lessons since 2004? Not sure if we are figuring it out....

What do you mean the defense is not a problem? The Steelers were 10-16 on 3rd downs today. Roethlisberger passed for 360+ yards. The Pats defense held the Steelers to one punt all day. Yes, the offense also stunk, as did the special teams. The head coach was a knucklehead also today. Saying the Pats have a good defense before the game and then bending yourself into a pretzel to rationalize it's play makes you look ridiculous.

Yea and last year they were 14 and 2 and lost in the first round. They were 16-0 and lost in the Super Bowl. People's reactions are not to what the loss means for the regular season, its a reaction to what it means to winning a SB.
This pattern hasn't changed for three and a half years now so not sure what this "good situation" is your talking about. The offense can be slowed down by a good defense and the Pats D stinks. That's not a "good situation".

5-2 and lucky to be so. What QB hasn't thrown for 350 yards against you? You get to play the Jets and Phins twice a year and you beat up on the Raiders, Dallas and San Diego and you think that is good? C'mon, try looking at this honestly. You are very very lucky to be 5-2. Any team that can consitently rush the passer can beat you by knocky Tommy Boy on his butt.
