    Re: Favre

If you're referring to Favre getting suspended then you're wrong. If Sterger doesn't talk to the NFL, they can't corraborate the reports and suspend him for sexual harassment. If sexual harassment is claimed, I believe the matter then goes to trial (if they press charges) and becomes out of the NFL's hands. All they can do is suspend him for violation of the conduct policy.

If you're referring to him walking away, he said he won't but I don't trust him. I hope he does just so this circus finally comes to a stop and puts all of us out of our misery. I'm so sick of the offseason drama and Ed Werder practically living in a tent on Favre's estate. It's laughable.

Chilly will probably get fired in my opinion. Lot of good candidates available and I think Chilly is the second best coaching talent on their staff behind Leslie Frazier

    Re: Favre

Yeah, I see the NFL favoring Favre here to the utmost possible degree. Goodell loves the money Favre makes for him.

She'd have to act like she was harrassed and only then would the NFL need to act.

Clearly, she is a gold digger. Otherwise, the harrassment angle would have come up a lot sooner.

If it's true they had been texting through last year and maybe this year, likely having some form of relationship on the side, then she looks like she is trying to cash in v.s. being a victim of harrassment.

Clearly, this chick loves the attention she gets with her implants and status as a hottie running around.  No real talent, wants to make a lot of money the easy way, etc.

This is why I cannot understand why athletes can be this dumb. Woods was close to having it right, except he kept in too close of contact with the escorts he had line up around the country.

It's incredible how dumb millionaires can be.

Word. Colin Cowherd was saying this morning that she spent all this time building her brand as this hot, eye candy, airhead and now she wants to play the role of "Margaret Thatcher" and that makes it tough for her to win over anyone. Plus, her legal team came out and said "she's lost 9 pounds through this ordeal." Last I checked, most women would take 9 pounds off any chance they get so don't see her getting much sympathy there either. She's a gold digger and wants the check and attention for as long as she can get it.

I don't think they're that dumb, they just think they're invincible. In sports especially, it's also the chase the counts. Remember what drives these guys: doing the impossible, winning, competition, being denied and trying again. When they're not playing their respective game, they need the competition elsewhere. I remember reading this study that showed men that cheat usually cheat with women that are far less attractive than their wives. Translation: it's not just the physical beauty but the chase, the allure of getting something you're not supposed to get.

[QUOTE]Well it was not a mistake that the week the news broke about this Farve story that her own website was launching that very weekend. She knew what she was doing. And she also knows getting Farve suspended does not help her at all so she wont do it. They cant suspend him for cheating on his wife. And unless she didnt like what he was doing they cant say its harassment. Not to mention, if i tell someone at work they have a nice a ss I am not going to get fired or suspended for a first offense, they would warn me and if i did it again i would lose my job to avoid a law suit. So why is he getting suspended for a first time issue? Or is this not the first time?

Did not know about her site but that makes much more sense haha.

I don't think the NFL has a first/second/third strike policy. I think Goodell looks at each case on an individual basis and makes a decision on suspending a player.

So he was right to send her a picture of his genitalia?  Is that the gist of the posts I see here?  If so, you guys must be YETS fans, they like this kind of thing.

Considering how old Fravre is and was at the time, its really a pretty sophomoric stunt. Dumb, dumb, dumb but then consider who we're talking about.

That's a seperate topic.   It's completely pathetic on his part like Big Turd locking 20 year old drunk girls in a room.    It's pathetic and embarassing they don't have hot girls lining up at the bar.

Me, I have never done that. Seems in poor taste and childish.

I can't see how it would work either.  99% of chicks aren't going to want to get a text of your junk on a text.

Actually, now thatI think about it.....Sending one's junk into her "inbox" is some good innuendo.

    hehe

A crank lineup in a room with Goodell in attendance behind a one way mirror and Sterger, has hilarious comedic imagery.

If the text can be traced to his phone, then he's in trouble. I asssume he's smart enough to realize it can be traced or if she can provide it somehow, he's going to look even  more stupid.

Something tells me he is trying to dodge embarrassment by denying sending the photo of his junk.  Maybe not, but I can see him going with the "I admit to that" to avoid admitting the photo text.

I was just thinking the whole game has so many angles. How will Favre do will he implode Will Moss suck- Will harven go up and down the field. With Peterson being keyed on how many yards will he get and what happens if or when Jackson comes in.Does baldy get fired when or if they lose.Look at Moss can it get any worse.
