Why he posts here I have no idea. At least the Yankee fans on our Red Sox site like Jete and Eric and NH Steve and others offer objective discussuions and a little humor. This guy just wants to taunt us that Eli and his Jints have beaten Tom in the Pats in two Super Bowls. Live in the present dude.

Wait 'til the Yankees win a WS. That's when you will see if they really are who they seem to be.

When the Yanks won in 2009 many of us(including me) congratulated them and the Yanks and they thanked us back. They were good winners.

Not likely for a while, unless the Yankees break the bank to sign starting pitchers Tanaka and Garza. But even then, their infield is attrocious, especially defensively...with Jeter and A-Roid in the line-up at SS and 3B.

What's going on in Seattle, my friend? Are the Seahawk fans as obnoxious as Broncos fans? Are they concerned about the way that the Seahawks have played lately, the suspensions in their secondary, or their WR and OL troubles? At one time, I saw the Seahawks as a prohibitive SB favorite. But now, it seems that they have taken a step back.

Any thoughts on these things from one of us stationed in the Emerald City?

Here's a pretty harsh article on Eli Manning...calling his 2013 season "one long butt-fumble": http://theweek.com/article/index/254185/eli-manning-is-the-worst-quarterback-since-mark-sanchez

         Yikes!!

That article has a link to the single season interception leaders.  Long list of about 250 places.  Guess who doesn't make the list.  Hint:  Not named Manning. (3 of those make the list)

Yes Pats fans the New York Football Giants will indeed win 10 games this season

First two weeks were an anticipated rough start of rookies, depletion and bad luck against two quality opponents and QB's named Romo and especially Peyton (not Manuel and Smith)

Now as schedule goes into lighter mode and the "just misses" on offense and defense begin to get corrected, the o-line gets players back and begins to gel-meaning the running game will open up and the big bruiser Brandon-u remember him?-will be pounding the rock especially from the 10 in -and the D with the healing JPP gets after QB's like the CHAMPIONSHIP days of yore the Mighty Eli will again be asked to do just enough-not too much like QB's who have carried their sub par D for years now :  ) - and the Gmen will once again be in the W column and on a roll

    5-3 by mid-season

10-6 and playoffs by January (maybe division title)

and we all know what can happen when the Jints make the playoffs...

Re: FEAR NOT JINTS WILL WIN 10 GAMES

Here's a news flash...Giants SS Antrel Rolle is furious that he didn't make the Pro Bowl this season, despite leading the Giants in tackles and interceptions.

Hey Antrel, if you and your teammates showed as much passion on the field this year as you have off the field due to this perceived snub, maybe, just maybe, your team would be 9-6 instead of 6-9, and have a chance of capturing the division title this week.

Hey Antrel, can you tell me how a team as talented on paper as the Giants lost twice to Jerry's kids? Check out this comment by Rolle: s why I play for myself, teammates, organization, family & fans. Nothing else matters.

Notice that he said that I play for myself...before mentioning his team.

Antrel, please...spare us the indignation. Giants fans, Tom Coughlin, and the Mara family should be the indignant ones, after the way Big Blue has played this season: http://nypost.com/2013/12/28/giants-rolle-irked-after-pro-bowl-snub/

Re: FEAR NOT JINTS WILL WIN 10 GAMES

Well...the Giants didn't win the 10 games guaranteed by Jints. But, at least they didn't lose 10 games either...and won 7 of their last 10 games. With a few adjustments, they can put themselves in a position to win 10 next season.

Job One is to do a better job protecting Eli Manning...Job Two is to do a better job of rushing the passer...Job Three is to establish a running game.

Apparently, head coach Tom Coughlin is returning next season. The only thing that could prevent this is a possible tussle between Coughlin and the front office, over whether OC Kevin Gilbride stays or goes:  http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/myers-coughlin-set-return-giant-fight-oc-loom-article-1.1562049
