Price will not be cut.....he has had problems coming off the line as a WR, but the Patriots used a 3rd round pick on him this year

Adam Schefter Adam_Schefter Dolphins weren't only AFC East team today to cut a former second-round pick. Bills cut WR James Hardy, another former second rounder.

Ian R. Rapoport RapSheet There are still several Patriots bubble players who have heard absolutely nothing thus far. Deaderick, Brown, Farnham. No news=good news

    Posted by Rocky
He doesn't impress me but he may have impressed BB. He takes the wrong route when leaving the line and it showed against the Giants as they forced him to the outside on every play during the last exhibition game. I like Farnham more than I like Price at least he can fill in at DB. Sorry but Price was a reach pick in the third round and I think BB really wanted Decker but Denver grabbed him just before the Patriots pick, maybe they can grab Jeremy Williams the kid from the Chargers who returned a kick 93 yards in their final preseason game.

I am sure the Patriots will be patient with Price, because there is a log jam at WR right now.  It will take awhile before they give up

Price looks like he has real good hands. The lessons he learns from Moss this year will be invaluable for the future.

not really. price's strengths are his solid route running, quickness, and hands. nobody would attribute jackson with any of those.

Taylor Price, like others have said, needs to improve his fight against the press. Consistency away from being rerouted is key. He seems to have good instincts and movement after the catch, and his catching abilities are pretty impressive. Price has many things to be hopeful for. Don't be a sports-bozo who grows impatient and dismissive based on shallow assumptions.

    Posted by Brendon-Patrick
Don't be a sucker for the promise of another Chad Jackson like a Brendon-Patrick either. I simply said that he doesn't impress me after watching him in College at Ohio and in his short stay with the Patriots. This neither makes me right or wrong, but it doesn't qualify you as an expert either. Name calling is something that I did in the the third grade approximately 50 years ago. I'm not about to engage you in a contest of stupidity. You win!

Woah...my head is hurting...I'm not saying that Woods or Burgess are pro-bowlers, but who is going to play outside linebacker?  Are we going to sign Jarvis Green and convert him to OL for the first game?  I hope Murrell, Ninkovich and Cunningham are ready to play a lot of snaps!  And isn't it still kind of an unknown if Banta-Cain can handle three downs all game long?

Good move to cut Burgess.  He was useless.  No pass rush and helpless against the run.

    Re: Final Cuts

According to the Herald, the Pats are going to cut Aiken.  Since Owens and Jenkins have already been cut, Price makes the roster.

I noticed on Jenkins' TD against the Giants, Price caught up with him and escorted him into the end zone.  Exceptional speed (2nd fastest WR at the combine) and a willingness to block are two reasons to like him.

Sergio Brown is gone via Mike Reiss and ESPNBoston.  I liked the guy, hopefully he ends up on the PS, though I feel like someone will sign him as a ST guy.  It sure seems like the team is cutting alot of their pure special teams guys (Brown, Woods, Alexander, etc).

On a side note, why is Reiss so fast at reporting.

    Re: Final Cuts

and that means that Matt Slater is still on the team, Kaczur is not on PUP till now, Buddy Farnham survived and so did Kyle Love, Dane Fletcher and Thomas Williams. My count right now stands at 56 including Ojinnaka. So two more to cut. Think we´ll see some new faces on the roster on monday.
