Must haves for the computer... Malwarebytes, the free version is fine, CCleaner and rkill. These will fix your problems most of the time. Also, it is always a good idea to set up a second user account. Sometimes viruses will make it so you can't run certain programs or get on the internet for the user account you are on so you log off that user account, sign on the 2nd user account and you will be able to run all programs and get on the internet.

The 2nd user account is really the best thing that people usually never get around to doing. As for the software fixes (IT guy here) it's like spy vs. counterspy. The virus criminals (that's what they are) can pump out malicious software faster than the fixes are made available.
Yes, the 2nd user account is important and most people don't know about it. IT guy here too, it is amazing the junk that is out there just to harm computers. The programs I use most to get rid of the junk are malwarebytes, ccleaner and rkill as I mentioned. On occassion I have had to load and run spybot (disable teatimer) and the program superantispyware. The best way to remove spyware and or viruses is to remove the hard drive if possible and run malwarebytes.
For those who want to speed up your computer and keep it running in tip top shape get and run the following:
This program cleans up your computer by removing files, registry entries, cookies, and temp files along with other useful shit. I run this after I find and remove spyware, or after doing updates, and at least once a week.
Run the Cleaner and Registry buttons. On Registry do a scan then fix, back up registry everytime.
(you might want to uncheck some things like saved passwords, everything under windows explorer, read everything that you have checked and understand what it is.)
This is Windows Defrag with a 12 inch c0¢ck and supermodel gf.... It can defrag files individually. If one or two of your programs are struggling, you can specifically target them in the process during a quick defrag. It has a lot of improvements from the standard defrag.
DO NOT DEFRAG A SSD DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ninite updates multiple apps at once, you open it, it will show you what programs need to be updated, you click update and it updates all of them for you. This program kicks butt.

Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter
This will fix any errors with uninstalling a program, If you've ever tried to uninstall something and it gives you a big fat error then you will love this. It works on 64 bit systems unlike the old cleanup utility. Always try to use the control panel uninstall way first.
Junkware removal tool
Junkware Removal Tool is a security utility that searches for and removes common adware, toolbars, and potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) from your computer. A common tactics among freeware publishers is to offer their products for free, but bundle them with PUPs in order to earn revenue. This tool will help you remove these types of programs.
Use these tools and you will never have to call or take your computer to another computer guy again. Put these on flash drive and fix your family and friends computers, heck put the word out that you can clean computers and speed them up, use these programs and charge them! LOL!
