How about the kid from Marshall?  Andre Dobson---not sure if that is his name, but seems to have the tangibles--4.40 40, big, smart (captain on team etc)---and if memory serves right the last two receivers we had from Marshall were pretty decent....

You forgot that he had no drops last year.Brown and Moss were OK...LOL

    WRs:

    Amendola

    Sanders

    Hopkins

    Jones (bubble)

    Jenkins (bubble)

    Slater (STs)

    Ebert

This is a solid grup of receivers, I`m only concerned that, with we lost Gronk again, who will be our weapon in the red zone?

Brandon Kaufman from Eastern Washington is coming out early and could be a nice late round pick. I think he's 6' 5" with good hands and excellent leaping ability.

    speed?

    route running?

    nice find

He's not a blazer (4.5) but has a terrific knack for shielding smaller CBs from the ball. He's supposed to be pretty bright, so that's a plus when you think about how difficult it was for guys like Ocho Cinco to learn the Patriots offensive schemes.

ocho is a knucklehead. sounds like a bb value guy, but id want at least 1 proven commodity

    rogers too is a risk.

This draft will be very interesting, as there are a few routes the Pats could take here. I wouldn't bet on it, but it would not suprise me if BB takes 2 WRs in this draft (depending on the Sanders situation).

We've seen him double dip a couple times in the last few drafts (TE in 2010, RB in 2011). Therefore, anything can happen.

What I find interesting is the slot receiver is valued much lower dollar wise in the NFL yet Tavon Austin is ranked as the # 2 WR on most WR draft prospect lists that I have seen.

It's supply and demand.  Slots are easier to find because there are more of them and most teams only need one decent one.  Good outside receivers are harder to find and most teams want two of them.

Like many posting here I like Emmanuel Sanders for a 3rd round pick.  If we do this, resign Lloyd and draft a DE first and a DB second.  Good enough, imo.

I like this except the Lloyd part. My gut tells me he did something and the pats don't want him. Looks like no one wants him so far.  I'd like a nose tackle, db and wr in the perfect draft world.

Seems as time goes by that Sanders won't be offered. I have a hard time seeing the Pats use the #1 on a WR if the DL hasn't been addressed.

I'm liking Mark Harrison, reminds me of Aquin Boldin.

    http://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-draft/2013/4/4/4164796/2013-nfl-draft-sleepers-wide-receivers-mark-harrison

Plus he has a man's name not a girly name.

DeAndre? Da' Rick? LOL. Whatever happened to Joe or Bob.

Right on.  Patterson out of U. of Teen. is going to be a star in NFL

Maybe. He is an athletic freak, for sure. But he has incredibly raw skills, and is not particularly bright.

I think he would struggle mightily in New England.
