Until the Pats get a real GM, I'll just accept bad personnel decisions on a regular basis.  Bad drafting and FA's have been going on for years now.  No reason for me to expect anything different as long as the Pats have the same GM.

Such bad decisions that they have won the AFCE 10 out of the last 12 years.  What do you expect a SB every year?

Stop...please...it's all about SB wins...period....Carpe Diem...you only play a short time.

As far as I am concerened the Pats left 2 SBs on the table...hands down....so we should be sitting with 5. And I believe I could make a pretty good case that we left the 2006 SB on the table as well. 6 SB wins...an untouchable legacy and not far fetched either........

I'm in the 4-6 week pool as well. Whether it's a sports hernia, abductor injury, groin injury, or some combination of the 3 (forgive my lack of medical knowledge), I see him being sidelined for some stretch of time. None of these injuries would indicate an end of his season, but he's going to need a good bit of time to heal up entirely. Don't want these nagging injuries to recur.

4-6 weeks of rest. Then try to play again. If the situation is not resolved then surgery will take place. 3 months recovery if surgery takes place. So a total of 4 months if surgery is needed. They will try like heck to avoid surgery, not for time purposes but surgery causes the area to be prone to repeat hernias...not good if you make your living playing football.

They won the first 3 SB's by how many points?

    They could be 0-6.

Left 2 on the table?  Try and count some blessings.

You have to make the playoffs to compete for a SB, they do almost every year.

The untouchable legacy should have been realized...it was so do-able...

Trust me on this....if they don't get 4 the national media will all say well we all know why...this is a big issue for me....

This reminds me of the early 2003 season when we lost in Buffalo and Colvin got hurt in I think maybe DC vs the Skins and we lost there, with everyone whining, asking BB to step down, all this crap..

Anyone find it suspicious that Reiss, Perillo or Curran, people like that with legit inside tracks to the Pats, certainly more than the fat and bald Glazer, aren't touching this story with a 10 foot pole?

But, the anti-BB Globe is linking the Glazer crap story.

The fact is, we all knew he'd be out a month, so nothing has changed.

It's the anti Boston media as well as anti BB and TB....it's why I want them to get that 4th ring so badly ....I really do.......

    Thanks to the GOAT QB.

Because we all know, without him, BB is 0 fer 2 in the making the playoffs category as the Pats head honcho.

Ya, we all knew he would be out at least a month BEFORE the season started.

No crystal ball, just a dubious, injury laden history repeating itself.

The 70s Steelers could claim the same. So could the 80s 49ers and the 90s Cowboys. We all want to see our team win more super bowls. Speaking for myself only, I can die happy with witnessing 3 fantastic championship seasons with many more "oh so close" seasons.

Unfortunately, hindsight makes everyone geniuses!  What is also sad, the "rift" between Welker and the Pats became personal.  If not for that, this type of thread would not be here.

AGCSBill, just a fan havin' fun!!

Not much hindsight required to see this happening. I do agree however that the personal nature was sad with welker.
