Elevation is no joke, wish the Pats got out to Denver sooner then they did.

yes, part of the game plan BB failed on. should have got out there tuesday and get acclimated to the altitude

they should have beat miami and kept the home field. very tough to win in denver and it takes two weeks to get acclimated to that altitude.

    In response to mpb2008's comment:

I personally think and I have also heard from the talk show this morning, that the Patriots finally looked like a team devastated by injuries and lost of personal.

Lets face it, the Pats are the second youngest team in the league and with the exception of Brady, Mankins, Nick...they were playing with a bunch of 1st, 2nd, 3rd year players who a good potion of them were undrafted or street free agents.

Denver plain and simple had far better talent.

The Pats gained respect for fighting to the end and as far as I am concerned I am more impressed this season then in any of the last ten with the way we fough and overcame.

You get that way when you have losing seasons and get higher draft picks.  In order for the Pats to get better quality players, it needs to start losing and get higher draft picks.  Relying strictly on trades for more lower range draft picks, FA signings which represent players not wanted by other teams and UDFA, also not deemed good enough by other teams, may do well in the s-hort run.  Don't get me wrong, BB has done quite the job to build a winning organization with hardly any Pro Bowl quality players.  Back in the SB winning years, the Pats had boatloads of Pro Bowl players, especially on the defense.

If you had one of the best passers ever and was playing a team that ranked 7th in Rushing Defense and 27th in passing defense, would you try to establish the run or would you pass, pass, pass?

They should have taken their initial possession and passed the ball.

The offense didnt get going until they were forced to abandon the run and go with the pass.

Again...Denver's "ranking" of a run D is always good for a team is a legendary historical offense.  That's nothing new for a record setting offense to hide what the real run D of a team is.

Teams aren't running on them when way behind so early in games. Why is this so hard to understand? Our 2007 Run D was ranked high, too.   Chargers and Dolphins of the 1980s, Bills of the 1990s, Rams of the 2000s, etc.   Teams don't run when down 24-7 or 21-0 in the game. They get thrown on because they're defending massive leads usually or teams panic and think they need to throw a lot to keep up.

Denver is not a good run D.  Period. They're not a good pass D either. They're not a good D at all and haven't been for years.  2011 they were awful, last year poor and this year as bad, hidden by huge leads Gomie gets for them.

Seattle will expose the living daylights out of them in the SB.

This is not that complicated to understand.

Look at Bustchise signing in and out as Bustify and then in as Fletcherbrook. What is the point in trying so hard?  He's been prancing around as MileHighMike and Bungalow Bill today show he's the same person, but this is comedic gold as he takes the time to sign in and out to showcase more names to seem like it's more people involved.

    LOL

Gold Jerry, gold! The Jets extended Rexie and Geno Bust and Winslow made headlines within 24 hours to the utter joy of NFL fans, laughing at them, not with them.

The guy was quiet all week and now he's unveiling new names and old ones all at once. Priceless!
