Agree, he has looked good too. They really don't need to bring in any vet, all the competition they need is there. Teams don't really have much to go on with these backs when gameplanning for them this season

vereen is really making the decision who is the starting RB quite tough (11 carried for 64 yards and 2 catches for 16 yards.)

FOXBORO -- Patriots linebacker Dane Fletcher tore the ACL in his left knee in the first quarter of Thursday's preseason opener, according to Ian Rappoport of the NFL Network.
Fletcher was on the punt team for the Patriots on New England's first drive when he fell to the turf and needed help to get off the field. Fletcher was taken to the locker room, where the diagnosis was made.
The punt wound up not counting and the Patriots gained a first down on the play as the Saints were called for a procedure penalty.
