Gostkowski will be Pats Achilles Heal

During the playoffs, it will come down to a 40 something yard FG to decide the game.  The writing is on the wall.  He has not been successful in overcoming that critical mental block and lack of confidence.  I would seriously look at a potential replacement. Now.

Belichek view kick offs pretty highly, hence why AV wasn't franchised for a 3 year in a row. If you break it down he missed one important in a game in which he hit the first 4 FG with a long of 53. The rest have been in blowouts. He has kicked important ones againt the Jets that won the game for them. I really am not worried.

BB has had no confidence in Ghost dating back to Super Bowl 42.

I'd love to disagree...but I really can't.  *sigh* BUT....that's why they play the games.

I was wondering when somebody was going to bring this up...he has missed a lot lately! I dont have confidence in him in a game winning situation - he missed one against Arizona Cardinals in week 2 - not exactly a pressure kick.
