They're fine. It's Collins and Hightower that really bother me.

Don't even get me started on Ridley and Vereen.

I am disappointed but I know I am not a draft guru. So it is hard to stay upset. We will see how good this guy is or is not.

BB is not the coach of the fans; he is not here to please us. He is the coach of the team; he knows what he needs from players, who he can work with, who he can develop.

    I trust that.

    Misery (remake) 2014

BB in the role originally played by Kathy Bates

Lombardi in the role originally played by James Caan

Lombardi was "incapacitated" and therefore unable to attend the draft.

    You would both be correct.

I'm the biggest Vereen fan on this site!

The list is seemingly endless of how BB has totally mismanaged the draft.  And the Pats record since his arrival is reflective of just what a pi$ poor job he's done.

Someday I hope NE can bring in a quality GM/personnel guy... one that can build a competitive roster and compete for championships on a consistent basis.

     Mike

BB is a whole package: coaching and GM/personnel. His system is predicated on him both selecting and developing the talent. There is no alternative, no savior who is going to ride in and save us. Affirming BB means taking the bad with the good.

Haha, my comment was complete sarcasm.

    Re: Great Coach

I have to take a different approach in that BB's formula for success is hard to knock and I'm sure that when it comes to football he is one of the smartest guys in the room. Based upon with what he already has on the team this pick makes sense 'IF' the kid can stay healthy. That's his job and why Kraft pays him what he does...
