I'm all for partying...but I hope he tones it down a bit this off season...want to hear him grow up a little...Chandler Jones younger...already looking to better his game by adding new training techniques...jmo

kraft shouldnt care as long as gronk doesnt hurt himself more or do something stupid....you gotta let the guy live his life.

Jeremy Shockey is the poster child for tightends with drinking problems who can't seem to stay healthy for an entire season.  Let's hope Gronk doesn't keep on this trajectory, somebody introduce this clod to a hot playmate and marry him off already.

Mr. Kraft doesn't care what Patriots player do in their free time as long as it doesn't reflect poorly on the Patriots organization. That means, raping, fights, drunk driving, spousal abusers,  and murder charges.

Uhm, I think I disagree with this, the Patriots (Kraft, Bill, Little Jonathan) very much do care about their public image and their brand...probably more than any franchise in the NFL. They have gone to great lengths to try and make a home game more like a family enviorement. They don't like being embarrassed as thier 45 million tight ends poses with porn stars or gets himself on the internet wearing almost nothing...it doesn't lend itself well to the family enviorement they have trid to create.

Correct sir! As part of a Pats players contract they have to do a certain amount of charity work per week. Kind of hard to balance that with a party first attitude - its the same with the Pats cheerleaders, they have to have a spanking clean image...

dude having fun....I think we were all there at one point in our life....as long as he is responsible about it, and don't hear about him in the news the next day, it's ALL good.  Let's worry more about what he does on the field than off people.

I have no opinion on what Gronk does in his own time. They are "HIS" decisions and his alone. He's a grown man.

 

However the scientific evidence and statistics showing  the affects that alcohol has on the body from a performance and increased injury risk standpoint are pretty unbelievable. ...and that's for even just casual consumption and NOT having to do with playing while drunk or immediatley after drinking.

With great powers come great responsibility...Gronk needs to start growing up a little or his career will NOT last as long as say a Tony Gonzalez.

.all you youngin agree that he should party thats bc its the cool thing to do...yes it is! And yes he is young...but most all time greats are committed to greatness 12 months of the year...

I love Gronk! But this is the NFL now
