    RT : Almost 4 weeks to the day after suffering his forearm injury, Rob Gronkowski has returned to the practice field for the Pats.

    Nice.  I doubt he plays this Sunday but it's encouraging news, nonetheless.

    Our offense has been just fine without Gronk.  Rest up and get him in some action against Miami so he'll be ready after our playoff bye.

    Question:

    If the bone has completely healed, is there any additional harm to playing him?

    This isn't a muscle injury like a hammy, where you can easily repull it or strain it if you jump right back into a game.

     

    Don't know what this means about his playing status. But I trust that BB and the medical staff will only play him if there is no risk of him reinjuring it by nature of coming back early

     

    Or maybe this is just a smokescreen to give Harbaugh something else to prepare for?
