It was a horrible call, but the game should have never gotten to that point. We played a really poor game today.

Whatever. It doesn't matter. That was a gutless call.

That has ZERO impact on the play.

The only thing that does is hand the Jets an easy FG after missing a hard one.

15 YARDS at that. For that penalty. What a useless Roger Goodell Era rule, and a totally GUTLESS call.

The Tuck Rule was an actual rule before that play, moron.

It's a new rule this year any ref at any time can now call a 15yd penalty when there is money on the line

Whatever man. The team's disappearance in the 3rd quarter was much worse, and that was the whole reason why the game was even so close.

Brady actually moves the ball-game would be a blowout. But it didn't happen.

Offense had a pick 6. Defense played like swiss cheese. Jets take lead.

The D is missing their 3 best players. Brady is 36 and has a patchwork receiver corps.

What the hell did you think, this was still the dynasty? LMAO

They played hard, they hung in despite their issues, and got F*****! What part of that don't you get?

    It's an absolutely horrible call.

First because the rule is stupid.  Second because there is NO INDICATION that the sytupid rule was broken.

And then there is the timing of the flag - it is almost immediately thrown - right after the snap before there is even a surge by the D-Line.

The referee withot a doubt should be investigated.  Suspended without pay until investogation is complete.

Because that Referee intentionally changed the outcome of the game.

I'm still in shock and want to see this again.  If this is so that's enough for a big investigation.

Went back and watched the play in slow-motion. The flag came out roughly when the ball had crossed the line-of-scrimmage during its flight.

The official had decided he'd throw a flag on that play, and if you watch him, prior to the snap of the ball, he had his hand over his flag.

    Bag job. Unbelievable...

Did the Pats get a raw deal on #12's pick 6?

Did the Pats get a raw deal on throwing when they should have run it in OT?

Did the Pats get a raw deal when #12 couldn't hit the Empire State from 3 feet away?

Did the PAts get a raw deal on the continued insistence from McD to go for "style" plays?

Did the Pats get a raw deal when the Jets where flagged all game and couldn't capitalize?

Did th Pats get a raw deal because they only put up 6 points in the 2nd half?

Did the PAts get raw deal when the D actually held its ground in the 4th to keep them in the game?

The point is: the call was stupid, but the game wasn't supposed to go to OT.  BAD teams blow 21-10 halftime leads.

    #1, he isn't second teir.

#2, he merely put his hand on the guys butt. no way that was a "push".

#3, in no way impacted the play.

Rule:  Can't push your player into the pile.

Action:  Player pushes player into the pile.

    Result:  Penalty

Pat's fans reaction:  Hey!  Don't call penalties against the Pats like that!

    Actually at fault:  Belichick

I love how Jones gets called for unnecessary roughness but when Cumberland uses McCourty's head to get up Pats don't get a call.

NotNot to us how long it will take to get over this one. Jets know in the back on their minds they were gifted a win and never truly won it themselves. Just like they did in TB.

Refs are in the bag and the NFL is disgraced, anyone with eyes can see it!

He didnt extend his arms to push, he made a move around him as a stunt. It's not hard to see that's a no call, just like it has been forever.
