    Your choice, of course, Babe but I for one will miss your participation.  And, to be truthful, I rather resent that you are leaving me as one of the few remaining geezers on the board.  Seriously, if you do reconsider I'd enjoy seeing you return.  If not, take care and be well.

    Please note my prediction (in bold face). Turns out, I was only off by two days!

    Here's another prediction for you: Babe will be back tomorrow (maybe even late this evening)...

    (for the week ending 10/14/12)

    Total number of posted messages (estimated): 124

    Number of messages in which the words "Hi, Rusty" appear: 12
    (or an average of approx one "Hi, Rusty" per 10 posts)

    Number of attempts at deflecting criticism away the QB: 42*
    (or an average of approx one Brady-smooch per 3 posts)

    Number of attempts at patting himself on the back for accurately predicting how the Seattle game would play out: 4
    (or an average of approx one self-aggrandizing moment per 30 posts)

    Number of times Babe announced his retirement from message boarding: 0
    (Davedsone beat him to it this week)

    For the year though, Babe has officially "retired" twice, so he is averaging one retirement announcement every 5 months. Next announcement not due until March 2013

    Babe, we haven't always seen eye to eye all the time but when you and Rusty aren't attacking each other or you think people who don't agree with you is Rusty you make some good arguments and appriciate your input. Take some time off come back and just ignore people instead of starting wars

    Man..we have so much really great Pats news this week that will lead to this team being the odds on favorite to go to the SB. I'm really excited for the 2013 season! (and it's only March)

    Let's be pleased for a week well done by the Pats and tip a glass tonight to all here and lets keep it civil for a bit.

    I predict that Babe will, in fact, be back, but as he is watching the ribbing that he is taking now, he may actually come back with a different moniker.  That said, over time, he will show himself and enure humiliation once again.

    Once before? This is Babe's third "retirement"in the last 11 months. (Or one retirement every 110 days or so). The first two times he quit the board "for good" he returned the very next day. He'll be back again tomorrow too. Rusty will say something negative about Brady, and Babe will be unable to resist the urge to respond
