Correct and you can throw Tate and Edelman (not so fine China) in there as well.

Your good mthurl.  I purposely left a few off so I wouldn't sound like a braggart but I do have a finely tuned football suckdar.  To bad it doesn't transend to any of the other sports.

I wish there was an viewer option of getting isolated pictures of particular players in a window-in-window view, rather than just the ball-focused view. It's tough to get an overall picture of how a player is doing from just a few plays.

(I'm too cheap to get Tickets and go to a game, so my fault I guess)

It does seem like DMC is slightly slower reacting to a receiver's breaks when compared to last year, but that may just be a perception on my part.

He is still making some big plays this year, like the goal line stuff in the opening game (he dove in and took out a blocker, freeing up Mayo to make the hit). No way Samuel makes that play!

You're all about pink hats and trolls with virtually no substrance. Grow up so you don't look quite so much like the snotty nosed child.

If his DPR is 127 and he has played well the last two weeks how bad must he have played the other weeks?

I'm surprised you haven't blamed Brady for his woes. You're slipping.

I know some people constantly cry we should run more, or that Brady is screwing up the D, but that's not all they do. They also praise the D, or they praise BB (even though he just can't seem to get O'Brien to call more running plays). So they're not "just complaining".

Really there is no one more pathetic on here than you; there probably isn't anyone as wrong about...well almost everything, but I guess that's what happens when you post 600 times a day throwing as much crap up against the wall as humanly possible:) Lol!! (I know you dig lol and such). I did love your brilliant and ground breaking assessment that running the football = good. Of course your weekly breakdowns of the our defensive backfield coverages is also quite enlightening! I think you may be a bit off about how you view our problems as a result of our top ranked offense...vs. our low ranked defense, but other than that you're stellar...just stellar. Keep up the good work! Maroney, Merriweather (one of the better safeties in the afc at one point...hahahaha), Butler...send their regards.

Alrighhht, jesus let's not go overboard here...  Although man, I too thought that mrthul's liner towards russ of: "Great call in saying that 'Running the football=Good'", WAS in fact pretty killer.  Still let's not jump the gun by Everyone chipping in for the astroglobe & scrying rod for mrthul & tcal, in the hopes that they'll do some collaborative effort together to divine the future by composing the next farmer's almanac just because, As of the date of October 23rd, 2011- these fortune tellers were able to predict that Darius Butler, Shawn Crable, Lawrence Maroney, Brandon Tate, Terrence Wheatley, Tyrone McKenzie, Ellis Hobbs, and Terrence Nunn, Are ALL Pats Players who might not live up to expectations in 1 form or another...

tcal IS able to apparently see into the future, considering he has hated Meriweather from Day #1, although the initial reasons were totally undefined.  Annnnd so mrthul too, is now going out on record, with a simply huge & very risky prediction, wich says that Julian Edelman just might not have what it takes...  Boy oh boy, Nostradamus is jealously rolling over in his tomb, green with envy.

    Re: Harsh Reality for Devin

A couple of adendums 1 #1 cb's usually cover #1 wrs and #2 are helped by shading safety(ies) We have only 1 true starter quality safety. The guy we counted on to be our stud safety has a hip injury and thats really bad,i.e. Colvin Bo jackson especially for a db. Anyone that has ever played at level as a db knows the #1 things coaches tell you KEEP YOUR HIPS NARROW. Too bad Dowling was looking like a stud. Our new scheme was to have an increased pressure allowing less route time and relying on more out side 1 on 1 and the safeties shading 1 deep1 middle. Injuries have hampered this but as we get healthier you see our D is giving up less points which is the ONLY important defensive stat and will continue to improve weekly. All this we are 5-1 playing teams that are 17-16 as of Saturday and we should have won that game against the Bills. We have played one of the toughest shedules in the NFL and we're 5-1 one play away from being 6-0 so at this point in time this is just a tempest in a teapot. Todays sports hack has to have something to poignantly whine about. We are the best all around team in football right now and we're not even 100%. 1 more thing the Yets still s u ck s uc k s u ck!!!!

I can't believe McCourty is actually being compared to Butler in this thread.  Butler never put together anywhere near the type of performance that Devin had last year.  Sure he hasn't been as consistent this year, but when you play at the level he did as a rookie you get the benefit of the doubt.  Butler never deserved that because he never played well for an extended period.  If you people were in charge of the front office we'd probably have cut Brady.

King I love the thing about the yets at the bottom of your posts that are mostly as lucid as anyone elses, including mine ,but we're fans it's to be expected. WOW 8058 posts in 6 months thats even more than the wingnuts that comment on news and politics board 24 hours a day. I respect your fanhood no doubt but dude how do you even have time to watch the games ? Your post average is 45 a day! You may want to consider buying a PS3 or Xbox and play Madden, watch some porn or something!! Wink

For the record, the NY Jets ONLY have two division titles and ZERO AFC Titles since the 1970 NFL merger. Yup.  Pretty pathetic."

You incessantly gripe about the spread, O'Brien and Brady which is by default griping about how BB fashions the offense and then have the gall to say others question him.

Anybody who disagrees with your insane spin that Brady/O'Brien/(BB) is the core problem you call either a pink hat, troll or irrational.

I have determined you suffer from a mental illness. I'm not joking. You are a certifiable nut job.

If you're referring to me, please understand that they both showed promise their rookie seasons as had Wheatley, but DMC obviously had an amazing rookie year that no one can deny.

The correlation I was trying to portray is that of the second year for our CB's.... by no means am I comparing them skill wise because they couldn't be further apart.... it's obvious if you reread my post.. -that is... if you were referring to me.-

The facts here are that he is having the hardest time out there compared to our other CB's, but God knows I am pulling for this guy and I do believe he will improve his play this year.

Just a paranoid outlook I suppose.
Yes. And I think it's a legitimate gripe, as do MANY others here.  We only lost a SB for it and lost last year's playoff game as a sourced reason for it. Mt. Hurl whines about every single thing, usually on defense, totally mirroring that geek Chris Gasper and Felger.  That's the difference. He and his ilk whine just to whine. It's relentless. NE is 5-1 instead of 6-0 because of the offense, but don't tell Hurlie that. Most of us laugh at those dorks like Gasper and Felger who play off this anti-BB rhetoric demanding Lombardis annually, so good for Mt. Hurl sounding just like them. I'd bet my life Gapser and Felger never played comeptitive, organized football in their life.
In Response to Re: Harsh Reality for Devin : Bob Kraft didn't like BB's gameplan on offense last year either. He said it publicly. So, yeah, I'd say the base/spread offense remains the elephant in the room until it's proven it can win in the postseason or a SB. Yup. The only nut job here is you posing as a Pats fan with  acharacter created to push your NY based agenda. You aren't fooling anyone. I'd hate to see what people like you and Mt. Hurl do in real life when faced with a real problem. You probably stain your diaper. Comparing McCourty to Butler means you don't know football or don't watch the games. End of story. Just TWO weeks ago we saw irrationals on here saying how dreadful Arrington is, yet he leads the NFL in INTs and has played quite well this year. You and other dorks don't see a name on the jersey that makes you feel good (Ty Law, Samuel, etc), so you look to scapegoat. It's a sick, sick illness.
    Posted by RidingWithTheKing
I'm glad you finally admit you think BB is failing as a coach. I don't question BB's coaching. He's the best in the business.

I have a NY based agenda according to your rantings from the asylum. I have said the jets are pestilence and repeatedly stated the giants were lucky to win that super bowl. That's a NY based view in your alternate reality?

I never compared McCourty to Butler, buttercup.  I know it's a challenge, but try to get it right. Limit it to say being wrong less than a dozen times a day. That would be a start.
