Face it, Glasskowski got hurt on 2 soft plays. Welker makes him look like a baby with the hits he takes.

Yup Benard pollard rolling over on Gronks ankle and Having his forearm snap on him during a PAT totally screams Gronk is injury prone.

It takes awhile for the metal plate and bone to heal and fuse together. 6 weeks was clearly not enough time. Gronk probably wanted to play so badly he was willing to re-injure himself to get back on the field. If he waited until it was fully healed it would have been after the SB. They are only in the game a short time and I don't blame him for trying.

Injury prone? Not even close. Try tough as steel.

Going up to get that pass and coming down on it that way was a soft play, huh? What do you do for a living? Anything short of bullriding or skydiving without a parachute must qualify you as a pu**y. Drop that 260 pounds on your arm that way and see if it don't break. He's probably got a bigger set than most of us! Lol!

It's the timing of the injury.  If he had gotten hurt mid-season and returned this post wouldn't be here.

Right.  That's why it hurts more.

I think all the talk about Gronk being "fragile" is just fans expressing their frustration.

After last year, not having him at 100% for the Superbowl definitely hurt the offense.

We all thought it would be a different story this year.  We'd have both Gronk and Hern out there at full strength but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Atleast this year we know he's not going to be out there so the team can plan without him.

But there certainly is NO replacing Gronk when he's healthy.  Does too many things so good.

    A matchup nightmare.
