    Honestly..the season is over!

With loses to the division leading Broncos and Colts we have no chance. All of the apologists will say that we will get better but so will the other teams. What better time to face the colts than with 2 rookie DBs and Saunders out for the season. Not to mention Gonzalez out on the O side. I'm sick with this loss. There is no way the Pats win on the road against the tops teams in the playoffs. They can't win against depleted teams in the regular season. This just shows how underrated the defense was during the championship years! Brady was a game manager and the "D" closed the deal! When Brady is left to win the game by himself he fails consistantly!!!

    Re: Honestly..the season is over!

They will still take the division.

Forget this game guys... seriously - we are all totally P'd off.  Its over - move on.

Cincy has a cake sched with the exception of Minn... but if they faulter on another game who knows.

Denver came back down to Earth and will battle out the division with SD.

Pitt kind of has an easy schedule, but they still have Balt 2x's, G.B. and end the season in Miami.

Pats SHOULD have won - lets face it guys, they played great.  You take away that BS, PI call - BB's bonehead call and the Maroney fumble (although I hate to take away turnovers just cuz they happen on the 1 yard line) and this game was a blowout.

If the Pats get back to business (and they will - no one is better at staying focused week to week) - they take down the Jets, then another huge test in NO.  If they beat up NO like they did Indy and don't have any stupid penalties, etc.  They can win out and still get the #2 seed.

They either collaspe after this loss - or rebound to show how great they are.

In Response to Re: Honestly..the season is over!: A super-soft early schedule and we barely win games we should have lost: thank you McKelvin and Clayton. We have only had 3 games in an opponent's house and lost them all. We blow a game to the Colts, who had 2 ookie DBs and no Gonzalez or Saunders. This season is over. Miami may take the division.
