why do you think he is special? He is short for an NFL CB as WR's are getting taller. He is not particularly fast. Average at best tackler. Doesnt have a large body of collegiate games played. Projects as an inside cover back and after the Arrington contract would be the 4th or 5th CB on the team. Is that a 2nd round choice?

Didnt even mention his off field issues. Did you read the article on this guy in the MAG? Has practically zero personal support system in his life. The guy has high risk and small sample size, with average metrics.

Pats need a potential replacement for Talib after this year if he dosnt resign, and they need some size at CB

Well, to be fair, he has said that he hates the name, and wishes people would stop calling him that.

He played with a very good defensive line in front of him (2nd best to Alabama) and one of the best defensive backfields in the country (produced a first round CB and first round safety) at LSU . . . so the kid had freedom to gamble  . . . he will not get that in the NFL.  A nickle back at best and will return punts and kickoffs in the NFL  . . . not a big need for the Pats this year so they'd only look at him deep in the draft!

He would not get that freedom in NE - not their system, but there are a number of teams that do have the riverboat gambler safety built into their system - Pitt with Polomalu and Ravens with Reed for example.

That interview with him on ESPN was pretty bad.  After taking all those drugs, I think he might be retarded.
