On any given Sunday.   No such thing as a guaranteed win!

Besides, why do we see such discussions started about "trap" games whenever the Pats win a tough game followed by a game against a "supposed" weaker opponent?  You think the Pats are going into Houston thinking they can mail this game in?  I do not think so.  This is stuff only fans like to talk about.

Yes, it is a trap game...for the TEXANS!  The jaws of the Patriot juggernaut will slam shut on them!

Trap game no. Any given Sunday - yes. But BB will have his guys ready.

Baltimore is the only remaining game I am concerned about.

Maybe some "Letterman" jackets would help  the Texans.

    Bwahahahahaha!

I hope the Patriots are prepared.

I would hate to see a replay of the Browns trap game back in 2010.   Browns won with the rookie QB Colt McCoy.  Texans will be starting rookie QB Case Keenum.

Hope our defense doesn't give up 230 rushing yards in this game like they did vs the Browns in that game.  But with Denver putting up 280 rushing yards anything is possible I guess.

I wonder how much of Ridley we will see Sunday.

My only concern about this game is we get off that horrible Texas field without any more major injuries.

Disagree. BB already preaching to the team about how they've lost 3 road games. NE will win in Houston and in Baltimore to push towards postseason.

And if they don't, you'll blame Brady.

One guess why the Texans, juggernauts last year, are working on extending their 9 game losing streak this year.  The team has had massive injury problems because they have had to play on that horrible Texas field for eight regular season games and two preseason games.

One side of the "trap game" theory holds up.  New England and Denver somehow played over 160 total snaps in one game, and both teams have a short week to recover.  At least New England didn't have to fly home after the game.  On the other side of Houston is that big home game versus Cleveland in another week, not exactly something that distracts the team from the Houston contest.  Yawn.

BB doesn't allow his team to go unprepared, they'll play better.

LOL, that was a good one.

Agree with the rest of you, let us hope for no injuries. The way this season is going my fear is an injury on either OL or DL.

Barring anything unforseen I see something like a 31-14 game.

Going to have to deal with watt.   They neutralize him and we should win big.

Well, it was a little too close for comfort but the D did shut down Watts and the O got on track in the second half. I'll let TexasPat do the grading but playing only 30 minutes out of 60 won't cut it when the playoffs start.
