He's been terrible in the postseason since 2007 for our team. I don't care about bloated stats or reputation Pro Bowl nods.

The Patriots have been terrible in the post season since 2007.

Your opinion of Mankins carries substantially less weight than those of his peers and coaches around the NFL which is why he is universally respected.

I think Mankins is a better pass blocker than people give him credit for.  Yes, like any O lineman, he gets beat occasionally, but I think 98% of the time he's doing a great job handling some very tough assignments.

Remember, as well, that it's not always apparent who was "beat" unless you know the blocking assignments.

I think everyone is saying Mankins is a decent pass blocker. It's just that it doesn't gel with the fact that he gets paid the highest for any guard in the league. Maybe no interior lineman, no matter how good, should take this many dollars from the cap.

Unlike liking a rookie since last summer it is meaningful to say "I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED MANKINS"

The Bengals are terrible in the post season. Three straight trips to the AFC Championship game is a rather curious definition of "terrible".
