How Peppers Changes The Patriots Future.....

If we sign Peppers to a long term deal it radically changes the future of the Patriots. Basically we have to kiss Richard Seymour goodbye when his contract is up, Seymour's getting up there in age, and we won't be able to sign him long-term. There's no way we let Wilfork go unless he slips in play, I feel he's a Hall of Fame caliber NT and they are hard to find. Ellis Hobbs will also be very expensive to resign since starting caliber CBs are expensive, as will be Longan Mankins who will want Steve Hutchinson type dollars. Mankins we can always franchise and get another a year. I'm okay with giving up Seymour and Hobbs, for Peppers, a guy who can get us 10-16 sacks a season for the next five years.

But we wont have Peppers...according to most NFL expets it will never happen. He is way too expensive.

just like Thomas was gonna get us 10 sacks a season right? people dont put up those kind of stats in a Pats defense hell Vrable got 12 and a half sacks two years ago and that hadnt been done since Andre tippett played in the 1980's. peppers and Seymore are almost the same age, Seymore is like 9 months older then Peppers or some sh*t like that so dont play the age card.
