    I guess it all boils down to what you want from your coach.  I for one prefer the one who acts like a coach instead of a high school cheerleader.

    I keep watching for the slightest hint that BB almost cracks a smile, but I keep coming away with nothing.

    Pete Carrolls grow on trees.  It's as if BB was grown in a laboratory in some super coach experiment.  They used the DNA from a coach/player/disciplinarian who wrote a book on football strategy.  He was breaking down film in the crib.

    The press conference AFTER the game showed him almost smiling, but he must have felt his face starting to crack cuz he never did actually smile. He certainly looked absolutely jubilant... for him. LOL    In all seriousness though, he gave great press that night. Answered most questions fully and everything.

    Apart from the score, I thought that was the high point of the game and simply classic Belichick.

    I want a coach who never stops coaching for the win no matter what the situation. Who starts preparing to go as far as his team can go from day one through the last second of the last game. A coach who stays calm so he can make the best decisions, even when he feels it is best to gamble.

    I want BB....

    YOu know one of the ironies of coaches around the league? THe closest coach to BB in temperment, style and intent was Mangenious. He was perhaps not quite ready. And he had a learning curve to cover... and if he had not burnt his most important bridge.... Tooo bad.

    I would prefer him to be himself and do what works for him and his team. As long as the success is there I frankly do not give a darn.
