    hurry-up wore out the offense

What's the end result of running 89 plays?  Maybe you get run down...?

The anemic 4th qtr numbers by Brady and mcds offense defies logic until you apply some common sense .

it's a myth to think hurry up only tires out a defense it is run against ...  Brady is the only one not tired, standing there shouting directions .  Its great if you blow people out, but if you end up in a close game, your energy could be sapped.

more evidence:  last game, no hurry up--- 2 crucial drives to win the game.

This is a very good point. It's the reason teams don't run hurry up all game usually.

The drives were successfull because they were trying to score, not run out the clock.  Brady has always been lethal when trying to score.  The Pats have never really been successful trying to run out the clock.

The Pats idea of running out the clock is too score not to just run out the clock. Which is why TOP by each team means little in Pats games.

How about protecting a QB 58 times in a game. People blitzing, punching you, easier to substitute D-Lineman, so always fresh legs against you. By the middle of 4th Quarter, you have to be exhausted.

Probably O-Line too exhausted to even try to run the ball by the time you need to run it, to keep clock moving.

    Very good point.
